TeeveeTeevee
To compliment my film review site, Moovee Moovee, I thought I'd create a television review site. I plan on posting a new review every week. I’m in Canada, so there will be reviews of Canadian television... not too much though, it’s mostly junk. I’m also in the Eastern time zone, so any and all times listed will be EST.Click the link to read the review and scroll down to see the movies on TV this week that I've high-lighted.
New reviews posted every week. Last updated on June 5, 2001.
Sorry about the long delay between updates, my movie site's web host was just bought up by another company (one that wants to charge for it's "services") and I have just recently finished moving in.

Upcoming movies on TV
- Wednesday, June 6, Family, 9pm: Oscar (1991) [C]. Sylvester Stallone's attempted ensemble comedy has a great cast but a lousy script. Only for those who enjoy not laughing at zany comedy.
- Thursday, June 7, Fox, 8pm: The Frighteners (1996) [A-]. Peter Jackson's most commecial film isn't terribly commercial at all. Michael J. Fox stars as a ghostbuster hunting down a grim spectre of death who keeps framing him for murder. The effects are fun, the movie is often mean spirited and Jeffrey Combs is wonderful! A must see for any fan of horror.
- Friday, June 8, UPN, 8pm: Interview With the Vampire (1994) [B]. Tom Cruise is an effeminate vampire who seduces Brad Pitt in this take on Anne Rice's novel. The movie is long, but if you endure you'll be rewarded with one of the most complex bloodsucker sagas ever.
- Saturday, June 9, MoviePix, 9pm: The Last Boy Scout (1991) [D+]. Bruce Willis looks about as bored in this movie as I was watching it. Lots of explosions, nudity, fighting, homophobia and brutality to women; little acting and plot. Watch at your own risk.
- Sunday, June 10, CBS, 9pm: Something to Talk About (1995) [B]. Julia Roberts ditches Dennis Quaid when he catches him cheating on her. Zaniness ensues. Okay movie saved by stellar cast, including Kyra Sedgwick, Gena Rowlands and Robert Duvall.
- Monday, June 11, Family, 9pm: Rookie of the Year (1993) [B-]. Kiddie baseball movie isn't too bad, but the cliches over shadow everything else by the end. Early Thomas Ian Nicholas vehicle.
- Tuesday, June 12, TBS, 10pm: Falling Down (1993) [B]. Joel Schumacher directs this tale of a middle aged white male who finally has enough and takes it out on those who done him wrong. Michael Douglas makes the movie, Robert Duvall has the token retiring cop on his last case role, but he's as good as always.
