Cool layout, huh? Welcome to Smallville Junkie!! Here are the news:

4.5.03
As you probably have noticed, this site looks the same. Well, I am changing URLs and that could take months to get everything plus more new stuff at the new site. I have decided to open it.

3.11.03
The LINKS page is back up. Check it out.

3.2.03
Smallville, unforunatly, will be a repeat for the next two weeks; maybe even longer (though I hope not). TVguide.com shows that it will be a repeat for the next two weeks. Check out the links section and picture sections. They have been updated.

2.25.03
The big episode is tonight. Christopher Reeve (Clark Kent/Superman in the 1970 and 1980s movies) is guest starring. He plays a scientist who will give Clark the answers he has been waiting for. Also, the Smallville Soundtrack is out. You can buy it anywhere music is sold. Look in the song section where I have all the lyrics for each song.

2.22.03
The Fanlistings/Cliques page is now OPEN. The WB here in the states will be airing Tuesday's episode of Smallville tomorrow at 5pm EST.

2.21.03
The Fanlistings/Cliques page is almost done. I may not get it finished tonight, but it should be done by Monday (meaning opened). So please be patient. Also, I am open to new suggestions to futher better this site. Such as adding a new section. I'm considering on getting a couple of Smallville fans and maybe having them rare each episode. E-mail me (to the =>) if you are interested or sign the guestbook. I'll get back to you. Some of the pages beside the FL/CL page have been updated too; episode guide and music page. Check them out.

2.9.03
The Fanlistings/Cliques page is getting redone. I'm getting rid of every image and starting over. The Fanlistings/Cliques link will be a pop-up and it will have a link to all the fanlistings/cliques that I am currently in. Except the other page to be done by Feb. 22, 2003.

1.24.03: Smallville's own Kristen Kreuk (Lana Lang) is on the cover of Seventeen magazine.

Here's the interview on Seventeen.com. It is not in the magazine.

The twenty-year-old star of the WB hit Smallville (and seventeen March cover girl!) is a low-key lass who lives with her parents, dislikes partying and earns top grades. Talk about an atypical Hollywood starlet. By Laura Morgan

So did you like high school? Or was it more of a "get in and out" thing?
I didn't love it, but didn't hate it. I was really involved, especially my graduating year [2000]. I was focused on making it into a university, and doing all the classes that I wanted to do. My mother, she put my younger sister and I through every course. She wanted us to have every option, so I did swimming, gymnastics, dancing, singing, acting, karate . . . Gymnastics was one of the few things I actually enjoyed, so I stuck with it until grade 11, then I quit.

Why did you quit?
I had scoliosis; it also took up too much time, and I wanted to concentrate on school.

Were your parents strict on grades, homework, curfew — things like that?
My parents were very strict, but they are great now. Once I hit 18, I could do whatever I wanted because I was an adult. But when I was in school, I couldn't wear jeans until I was in grade seven! And then in high school I had a curfew — I don't remember what it was, but it was different depending on whatever it was I was doing. But I didn't go out much. There was no dating until I was 16 years old. My grades had to be a B or higher. I did get lower than a B, in, like, sewing, because I didn't have the patience. My mother also wouldn't let me wear makeup until I was 16.

Did you follow that?
I was never really into makeup — I would see girls who were wearing so much makeup, and I didn't think it was attractive at all. When you are that young, you can look beautiful just the way you are, and you should try to stay young for as long as you can.

I understand you weren't into drinking or any of that stuff?
It's never been an attraction [for me] — I don't even know why. A lot of people start going to parties when they are 14 or 15, and there is always alcohol. You see how some people change, how they become vulnerable and weak in those situations. I never wanted to be [like] that.

Did you ever have a high school boyfriend?
No one worth mentioning — it just wasn't something I found. I got a lot done that way!

You were totally OK with that?
Yeah, totally OK. The friends that I surrounded myself with — we didn't talk about boys and clothes and makeup; we talked about world issues and philosophy and the meaning of life. I had friends who were dealing with major issues, like abuse. A lot of my friends found their strength when they were young. Being able to be a part of their healing process means a lot to me; it makes our friendships even stronger.

So are you still friends with a lot of people from high school?
I only had a few close friends, but they are still my closest friends.

You've also said girls in your high school didn't like you. What was that all about?
They just didn't!

Well, you seem really likeable.
I am shy and I don't start relationships with people normally. I guess I have a way that can seem aloof and sort of cold. They didn't like me that much, but I never resented it. I was different then they were.

Did the guys like you better?
[Laughing] I don't know.

At what point did you start to take acting seriously? Are you committed to it for the rest of your life?
There are some days I think I could do this for the rest of my life and there are other days that I don't. But I love acting right now.

Was it hard not to go to college? Did your parents think you were making the right decision?
[Laughing] I wanted to continue to learn but I didn't want to be in that setting anymore. Acting was not an opportunity that would ever come around again, and I had to take the opportunity.
