And NOT about bloody boring 15th Century Spain, which is what I have to do in History! Please bear in mind, this is quite fragmented, but hopefully I'll build it up as time passes......
Recess was created by Joe'I have an unprounceable surname'Ansolobehere, who co-created Hey Arnold! and Paul'I have a normal surname, so there'Germain, who co created Rugrats. I think it started in 1998, which makes it 4 years old and counting. So far, there have been about five seasons and a movie (more than enough to demand some decent merchandise methinks!). It revolves around six children who use their recess to help each other out, pull some pranks and try to cope with the everyday problems of growing up, and they still find time for dodge-ball, wow!!
Some Facts you may not have know about Recess (catchy huh?)
1)Of the Ashleys, only one of them rarely talks, Ashley T and when she does shes voiced by Ashley Johnson (Gretchen).
2)Courtland Mead (Gus) was not in the first episode of Recess, he came in the 2nd ep and then he was voiced by the Actor who went on to become Randal.
3)Spinelli is the only child character to be played by an adult.
4)Mikey's singing voice is provided by an adult as well.
5)Originally, T.J was going to be called P.J ( as in Paul and Joe!)
6)Vince went through about 10 different hair styles before one was decided. So vain!
7)3rd Street school takes it's name from Joe's son Tom's school.
8)Writers on Recess have also worked on the Rugrats and the Simpsons.
9)The show is made in L.A
10) Neither Paul or Joe can actually draw! :)
