Site of Wilbur's Garage (2006)
Wilbur's Garage was located here right across the street from the General Store. The crew built it for the episode "Roar of the Hornet" and then tore it down after filming was done. There used to be two gas pumps here that were not real and that the crew left standing. But that didn't stop outta town folks from stopping, getting out of their cars and trying to fill-up their tanks with them. (True story).

Roar of the Hornet was one of my favourite episodes to be in. We had Ralph in it who was a star from the Forest Rangers. I was in awe. Plus we had the actor who played the mechanicÂ…Mark Strange? I forget but we was very cool. I remember the smells of gas , oil and grease, it was the heat of summer. As I recall we filmed it in record time
