Pikmin: These strange creatures are part plant, part animal. They become attached to whoever plucks them from the ground. Pikmin come in 4 main breeds: Red, Yellow, Blue, and Purple. Red pikmin have highly developed skin, enabling them to withstand the high temperatures of fire! They can also produce powerful attacks with their stinger-nose. The blue pikmin have gills. Therefore they can swim. They can also rescue drowning pikmin. The yellows are lightweight, and have large ears. These features make them more aerodynamic. They can also handle bomb-rocks, a tool for breaking down rock walls. The purple pikmin can not be controlled. They are produced by creatures called Puffstools, and attack Olimar!
Pikmin Have Emotions- Pikmin have several different emotions. You can see them act emotions out if you put them idle. They do many different things. Here are a few:
1. Tired-they sit down. 2. Tough-they shake their head plant and put their hands in a mean pose and taunt the others. 3. Annoyed-they put their hands on their hips and shake their head plant. 4. Board-they lie on one side and relax. 5. Neutral-they just stand there.
