2003 Fall Campout

Just wanted to let you know how great I thought the campout was. It was so incredible to see so many families there. This was my first Fall Family Campout and I was so glad I dragged myself up there, even just for the day. It is a beautiful camp and the boys and I had a wonderful time. The activities were great and lunch and dinner as well. I was thinking back on it and I think every den leader was there and some representation from each den. It is such a great accomplishment to have such a big turnout in my opinion. Sincerely, Robin Marchioni.-------- Footnote: We had 122 people attend this outing! Great turn out!

2003 September Pack Meeting

Pack 84 has earned many Quality Unit Awards

Cub Scouting is the part of the Boy Scouts of America that is designed for boys in first through fifth grade. Most of the boys in Pack 84 are from one of four schools: La Tercera, Miwok, Old Adobe, and Sonoma Mountain. We also have boys from other schools such as Penngrove, St. Vincent, and others. Organizationally, Pack 84 is part of the Miwok District (Petaluma, Rohnert Park, Cotati, Two Rock, and Tomales Bay), which is part of the Redwood Empire Council (Petaluma north to the Oregon Border). There are over 300 Councils in the United States in the Boy Scouts of America. Pack 84 began under the leadership of Wayne Littleton in 1972. Since then, we have enjoyed the leadership of Petalumans who have devoted countless hours and years to serve our pack. The people who have made this Pack run are: Wayne Littleton 1972-1974, Ed Kilgore 1974-1975, Greg Rahman 1975-1980, Bruce Divert 1980-1981, Ed Squire 1981-1983, Scott Nelson 1983-1985, Lew Spengler 1985-1987, John Giaconia 1987-1990, Loren Dooley 1990-1994, Jeff Mayne 1994-1997, Peter Labberton 1997-2000, Warren Anawalt 2000-2001, Dave Johnson 2001-2003, Dale Robinson 2003 to Present. In addition to our strong leaders, we would like to thank our sponsor, the 7-11 Lions Club of Petaluma.
