| Back home in rural Bath, Tony Head
has been chatting to Hello Magazine about stepping down from the role of
Giles for much of Buffy’s sixth season.
"I know some people will think I'm mad and say, `How can you turn down 22 episodes a year on an American salary?' he confesses. "But for me, that's the way it's got to be. It wasn't about the money. I'm looking forward to spending more time in England and having a more settled family life, but ultimately I'll take whatever life throws at me." Meanwhile, following a string of reports in the Sunday papers, BBC Drama have confirmed that the proposed Giles spin-off series, The Watcher, is still likely. Although things haven’t moved forward substantially since we last spoke to them, they did note that Joss Whedon is still working on the show’s pilot script. Thanks to Nicola Guess |
