My Opinion On The Rock

This website is to show my hatred for the the supposed 'Most electrifying man in sports entertainment'. For years now many fans including internet ones have had to put up with the same old bull from The Rock (no pun intended). Ok the guy can be funny occasionally on the microphone during a promo or interview with phrases that were used only once but everything else that is used is complete and utter crap. Gimmicks die like Kaientai's 'Indeed' and 'Evil' one and Stone Cold Steve Austin as a face/tweener (good guy/neither good or bad) but the WWF keep trying to milk out money from The Rock and his gimmick. Im personally very bored of his current 5 or so sayings and the Peoples Eyebrow, Elbow and Champion stuff they were not good in the first place but now they seem ever so worse. If I tape the WWF and i see a Rock interview i will always skip it because they are all the same. Trouble is his fans seem to find them witty and funny every single week. Have these fans got a memory like a goldfish? Goldfish are meant to forget what happened a few seconds after and it seems like that to me.

Now on to something which is even worse......

Back in the days of The Rock in the Nation of Domination he could entertain the fans as a heel (bad guy) and could wrestle. Do I hear a few people saying he has been able to wrestle all the time? I hope not! Why do i hope not well i will explain : - The Rock has only a few moves that he can do. They consist of : - kick, slaps, Sharpshooter, Rock Bottom, Peoples Elbow, Spinebuster, Samoan Drop, Running Elbow Smash, DDT and thats about it. And most of the fans love it. Trouble is he can take everyone out with them UNLESS attacked with a chair from behind or illegally teamed up on by lots of people.

He is overpaid, overhyped, has too much TV time and no one else gets a chance for glory for example; Test, Edge, Christian etc. He also isnt dedicated to wrestling as most of these guys as he went to make a film.

He needs to be sacked to save wrestling/sports entertainment. I mean WWF viewing figures in the US are falling nearly every week and i think he is a cause. Why? Well people are slowly but surely looking at how poor he actually is and how he performs the same act every week and they are getting sick of it.

Would you be sick of seeing a television program for example which is exactly the same as another? Of course you would!
