JAG
JAG is today one of
the biggest drama shows, but it wasn’t that easy all of the time, with a change
of channel and one of the most expensive budget when it comes to scene clothes.
When the show began in 1995, on NBC, it was a big success. With David James
Elliot as the pilot, Harmon Rabb junior, who’s transformed to Judge Advocate
General and his assistant Meg Austin who are investigating crimes in the US
navy and the US marine corps. The show was planned to stop after the first
season, but CBS picked it up, and that wasn’t a bad idea b/c JAG is very big
today-
Harm’s father was a
pilot in the United states navy and flew during the Vietnam war. On Christmas
eve year 1969 his plane was shot down, and Harm has tried to find out what
happened to his father when he was brought to Russia after the war. On his
travel there he found a half brother, Sergei.
After the first
season Harm had a new colleague, a marine, major Sarah McKenzie, who he has
worked with or against since then.
During the second
season “the admiral”, played by John M Jackson. entered for the first time. He
has become a mentor for the advocates at JAG headquarters.
