At Christmas time, Dylan goes to visit his father in jail, and it is hard for him, considering his dad hasn't been around for alot of his life. Later on in the season, the gang goes camping, and Dylan saves Brandon from falling off a cliff at Yosemite. Dylan and Brenda have sex for the first time at the spring dance.

She returns to Dylan, and their relationship is on again off again. Dylan also gets his car hijacked. Dylan meets a lady named Suzanne, and her daughter Erica, who is Dylan's half sister. Suzanne gets engaged to a guy named Kevin. The four become like a family, but what Dylan doesn't know is that everything is a huge scam to get his millions.
