Episode 26: March 29, 2004 NEW
~ Dugong begins to stumble along the beach, but Sheila's attack on her continues.
~ At Dagatlandia, Pearly has the batong dignoy and is trying to leave shore and swim out to sea to return to Dugong. Quiana sees him and tries to stop him, but Pearly attacks her by hitting her repeatedly with his tail. She loses consciousness and Pearly leaves her floating in the water as he swims away with the batong dignoy. Too late, the other mermaids realize what happened, and swim to Quiana's side.
~Sheila continues her attack on Dugong, but she is obviously becoming weaker as her attack drains her of her own power. Marina has to support Sheila to keep her on her feet. Dugong eventually collapses, and Marina forces Sheila to stop her attack by using her hand to close Sheila's eyes. Sheila falls to her knees on the sand as Marina tells her -- "Dugong is dead". Sheila loses consciousness as Marina cradles her head.
~ Victoria awakens from her sleep in her home, and it's obvious she feels uneasy about something. She walks to the main room of her home, opens the window, and says Dugong's name in worry.
~ Marina and a barely conscious Sheila return to the resort. Marina sees Mario and frantically asks him to get Esther and Pilar. As Esther and Pilar help Sheila inside the resort, Marina tells Esther that Sheila was able to kill Dugong, but is now so weak from using her powers. Esther is at first relieved, but Marina tells her that Sheila is now so dangerously ill. Both women are at a loss, not knowing how they could possibly help Sheila get better.
~ Luna is visiting Lorelei and Elias, and asking Elias what had happened. Lorelei comes to Elias' defense, saying that Elias didn't start the fight, that the "bruha" started all the trouble. Luna asks who the "bruha" is, and Lorelei says, "it's Luna". Luna patiently tells Lorelei that SHE is Luna, and Lorelei finally explains correctly that the "bruha" is Elias' ex-wife. Luna is shocked, and asks if Lorelei means her mother, Victoria, and whether Elias and Victoria saw each other. Lorelei responds by saying -- how could they have had a fight if they didn't see each other? Lorelei tells Luna that Victoria came to visit them at Lorelei's home. Luna still can't believe Lorelei and asks -- how can Victoria have visited you here when she can't walk? Lorelei says -- she can't walk? is that what she says?
~ Victoria is running along the beach and finally finds Dugong lying on the sand. She is frantic and tries to wake Dugong up, but Dugong does not respond.

~ Back at the mermaid's beach, the other mermaids are apologizing to Quiana for not getting to her in time. Quiana says it's her fault, because she should have insisted that Pearly Shell leave the mermaid's beach when she first saw him interested in the batong dignoy.
~ Back at the resort, Sheila is in bed, unconscious, while Esther and Marina anxiously hover around Pilar, who is bathing Sheila's forehead with a wet cloth to bring down her fever. Marina says she wishes she were a mermaid right now, because she wants to go see Istah and get her advice on how to help Sheila. Esther instructs Pilar to keep bathing Sheila in the hope that her temperature comes down.
~ In the living room, Raphael finds Pilar hurrying to the stairs, carrying a small basin filled with water. He asks her what the basin is for, and Pilar hesitantly explains that Sheila is running a fever. Raphael immediately offers his help, but Pilar stalls him by saying that she'll just bathe Sheila and give her medicine, that there's no need to disturb him. She tells him that she'll be sure to call him if Sheila's condition does not improve. Pilar then hurries up the stairs, leaving Raphael confused in the living room.
~ Back on the beach, Victoria is dragging Dugong away from the water's edge. At first, she is obviously distressed at the thought that Dugong is dead, and whispers a sentimental goodbye. But then she becomes interested in Istah's necklace, which Dugong is wearing. As she fingers the necklace, Dugong's hand comes up to stop her, and Dugong warns Victoria to stay away from the necklace.

~ Dugong tells Victoria that the necklace is what kept her alive. She instructs Victoria to take one of the gems from the necklace and place it on her forehead. Victoria is confused, but follows Dugong's instructions. The gem glows and then is absorbed into Dugong's forehead, and almost immediately, Dugong jumps to her feet, her health fully restored.
~ Luna returns home and is surprised to find Victoria missing. As she looks around, she notices Victoria's makeshift wheelchair hidden under the table in their main room. She is at first surprised, but then she recalls the time she asked Victoria how she managed to reach some dry leaves that were hanging high up on a wall, and how Victoria gave the lame excuse that the wind had blown the leaves to the floor.
~ In the mermaid's beach, Quiana, Istah and the other mermaids discuss the loss of the batong dignoy.
~ Dugong explains that she and Dugyot faced each other, that her name is not Sheila, and on this island. She also explains that she came out of no where to save Marina. Victoria is shocked when she hears Marina's name.

~ Victoria asks if she's talking about Luna's friend, Marina. Dugong gets scared and pretends that she's not sure. Victoria doesn't understand, but Dugong explains that she was just looking for food and wanted to eat Marina, but then Sheila came out of no where and they both fought against her. Victoria is surprised that her neice is strong and offers to bring Sheila AND Marina to the ocean. But Dugong just wants Sheila. This makes Victoria more confused, but Dugong says hat she feels bad for Marina. She wants her to help her kill Sheila.
~ Later in the evening, Victoria returns home and is relieved to see that Luna is not there. But as she stands next to the table, pulling her makeshift wheelchair from its hiding place, Luna enters their home, and the two women come face to face...

While Sheila is sleeping, he wants to take her temperature because she’s burning up, so he puts a thermometer under her armpit. After a while, he checks it and it has melted. He doesn’t believe it. So Lorelei kicks them out of the house.
~ On the beach, Victoria asks Dugong where Luna got the power and feels that it’s stronger than hers. Dugong comments it’s because she made her mad, but Victoria doesn’t understand as they have fought many times before. Dugong explains that their powers start to ripen at a specific age, so she warns her to be careful as they’re more powerful. Victoria realizes it’s the same thing for her and Dugyot. Manding wishes that the gossip that she can walk is true, and Victoria pretends she wishes it‘s true. Azon tells her that Lorelei is spreading the gossip and saying that she is a witch. But Manding defends Lorelei, saying that even though she forgets stuff, she’s not a liar. Victoria laughs and wishes that she could use her power to bring back Lorelei’s memory.

~ Isabel asks Leon if he wants to go anywhere, but he doesn’t want to. So she asks if he’s not adventurous. He explains that he hasn’t told her yet why she’s mad at her. All this time, she thought that he really acted like that to her, but he shows a picture of him and a girl that looks like Isabel. She wonders where he took it and why she looks weird.
