Chapter 6

This Chapter was written by Michelle

Gia:  (hesitates and then shakes her head) When do you want to meet for the next shoot?

Lucky:  (hiding his disappointment)  Monday?

Gia:  All right. See ya then.

Lucky:  See ya

(Monday after the photo shoot)

Lucky:  (putting away his camera)  You know what, Gia?  So far these photos aren't turning out as well as I'd hoped.

Gia:  (lowering her brow)  What's wrong?

Lucky:  (laughing internally at Gia's concern)  It's not you.  (he smiles)

Gia:  (tilting her head and placing her hands on her hips)  Uh huh. That's what they all say.

Lucky: (chuckling) Really, it's not you, it's me. . .

(Gia rolls her eyes taking her hands off her hips)

Lucky:  (still chuckling as he moves towards her)  . . . I just got out of a really tough relationship. . .

(Gia gives a small smile)

Lucky:  (now less than two feet away) (taking Gia's hands in his)  I just need some space

Gia:  (laughing and playfully hitting him on the shoulder)  You're such a dork

(Lucky cups her face in his hands)

Lucky:  (with sad, puppy dog eyes)  I'm just not ready for a relationship right now

Gia:  (shivering at his touch)  (quietly) relationship?

(Lucky removes his hands from her face and leans in to whisper in her ear)

Lucky:  (whispering) YOU are wonderful.  Its the sets

Gia:  (squinting) the sets???

Lucky:  (stepping back) (seriously) Gia, the sets suck

Gia:  (nodding) Uh huh

Lucky:  (cleaning up) Uh huh. . . AND I think we need to make some adjustments

Gia:  What do you propose?

Lucky:  (walking back over to her)  I propose that we take our photo shoots to a whole new level

Gia:  Forget it, Spencer.  The clothes stay on.

Lucky:  Whatever, Campbell. That's not what I had in mind.  (smirks) Although. . . now that you mention it. . .

(Gia hits him again, but smiles)

Gia:  So, what were you thinking?

Lucky:  I was thinking that I take you out for a good time

Gia:  (coughs, after she suddenly remembers to breathe) Excuse me?

Lucky:  Well, like I said, the sets suck.  And I was thinking we could liven them up by doing outdoor shoots. . . you know (in his best talk show host voice)  GIA! In her natural habitat

Gia:  (laughing) Whatever you say

Lucky:  (slowly tracing his fingers up and down her arm)  And, while we're out, maybe we can get to know each other better

Gia:  (seductively) How much better?
