Rafe opened his eyes and started to move, but felt a weight on top of him that wouldn't let him do so. It took him a moment to realize why, but when he did he couldn't help but smile. Alison rested comfortably nestled and curled up on him on the couch. They had fallen asleep after the dinner fiasco. Rafe stroked her hair and watched her sleep, so peaceful, like an angel. Rafe smiled at that, because that's whatshe was to him, his angel. He had never known anyone like her. She started to stir and he shifted slightly as she opened her eyes. She looked at him confused for a second then smiled.

"Morning." She said her voice thick with sleep.

"Morning."

"I could really get used to waking up like this."

"So could I. Are you sure you're comfortable? Did you sleep well? I mean..." She put a finger to his lips to silence him.

"It was the best nights sleep I've ever had. I should be asking you that, I mean if you aren't comfortable I'll move, cuz I know this can't be too comfortable for you. I'm gonna move." He held onto her tighter.

"Don't you dare move." He caressed her cheek and drew her in for a tender kiss.

"Mmm. I could really get used to this." She put her head back on his chest and listened to his breathing and heartbeat. She ran her hands over hsi shirt and felt a shiver course through his body at her touch, which made her bolder in her movements. She began to unbutton his shirt and kissing each bit of skin as it became exposed. Another shiver was her reward.

"Alison." He moaned her name as she continued downward to his bellybutton.

"Rafe, make love to me." She looked up at him with pleading eyes that were filled with want, want for him. This alone left him in awe. What did he do to deserve this angel in his arms. His response was to take her face in his hands and draw her in for a passionate kiss and start unbuttoning her blouse and mimicing her earlier actions. He was slow and gentle with her as he wanted to savor each moment of this. Everything seemed right as long as he had his angel and she in turn had hers.

"Ed it's happening, it's happening." Paige looked like a little girl jumping up in down.

"Calm down Paige, this is no guarentee that they will remember anything."

"They love each other and are about to show each other how much. How can they not remember everything after it's over. Isn't that the deal?"

"Yes, if it is truly meant to be."

"You have doubt? Just look at them, how can they not be fated?"

"Paige, I'm just trying not to be too optimistic, I'm not the hopeless romantic you are, someone has to have the level head here."

"Maybe you're being too level headed. What's really going on here? I thought you wanted them to be together, to be happy?"

"I do, there is nothing in this eternity that I want more than Rafe's happiness."

"That's Alison."

"I hope so, I really do, because if she causes him any harm...let's just say hell will be the least of her worries."
