He ran his hands through his hair as an attempt to quelch the desire to dial the number permenatly etched in his brain. "No, Ric, you will not call her. Under no circumstance will you call her. Face itshe doesn't want to talk to you, she made that perfectly clear the first 19 times you called her when she hung up. She always hangs up the second she knows it's you." He bit his bottom lip as his eyes landed on the phone once more. "Ah, screw it, might as well make it an even 20." He picked up the reciever and furiously dialed her number. In only two rings a click on the other end signified her picking it up and he held his breath as the most beautiful voice he had ever heard answered. It was enough to just hear her voice. "Eizabeth Webber." She answered in a forced upbeat voice. "Elizabeth, it's me, please don't hang up. I just want to talk to you." "Well I don't want to talk to you." She was about to hang up on him for the 20th time, but for some reason his voice stopped her. It sounded so desperate, sad and weak and for as long as she had known him he'd never been weak. This started to wear her resolve slightly and besides his persistance was rather endearing. Also she was just so tired of fighting. She loved hi mand didn't want to deny that anymore. "Elizabeth?" Ric asked worried and hopeful all at once and she couldn't help but smile slightly. "I'm still here. What do you want?" Ric let out a shaky breath, this was his chance and he couldn't afford to blow it. "Elizabeth, I just want you to know how sorry I am and I know that doesn't change anything. I just never wanted you to be a part of my vendetta. I'm so sorry." "Sorry you lied or sorry I found out?" "Both." His voice was small and guilty. "Well at least you're being honest now." "Please give me another chance and I swear to you I'll never lie to you again. You are the most important thing in my life and I just can't lose you." "More important than your revenge against Sonny?" "Of course, don't you know that?" "Sometimes I'm not so sure." "God, Elizabeth I never wanted you to feel like that. I love you so much and I'd do anything to have you back with me." "Anything?" A sly smile creeped on her face. "Anything." He confirmed, unaware of her reaction on the other end of the phone line. "Alright, meet me in front of Kelly's in one hour." "Really? Oh my god, Elizabeth you won't regret this." "I haven't done anything yet, I'm not sure if I'm gonna forgive you, but I'm going to give you a chance to prove yourself." "Fair enough." "So, Kelly's one hour." "I'll definatly be there." They both hung up and Elizabeth smiled wildly as ideas flooded her mind. 'This is gonna be fun!' She thought to her self as she went to get ready to meet Ric.
