Disclaimer: Don't own A/C or anything associate with them...I also Don't own the song "I Always Liked That Best" which is sung beautifully by Cyndi Thomson...one of THE best female country singers out there...

Spoilers: Season 3

Authors Note: This is a Montage Fic...so all the actions will have the song in the back ground...I seperated the lyrics so you know what's going on during the certain parts of the song...I love doing these...it's so much fun...also most if not all of this stuff never really happened on the show so I'm taking liberties... Summary: Cordelia thinks about the times she's had with Angel...

Where do I start

Lying on a blanket underneath the stars

With your head on my chest

I always liked that best

(Flashback)Angel is on a blanket with his arms open beckoning his seer to join him and she smiles and does so. They lay down and he puts his head on her chest, her smile grows.(fades out)

I hate how time flys

I still think back sometimes

Bout your lips on my neck

I always liked that best

(fades in, present day)Cordelia is in a small room and she paces back and forth. She close her eyes (flashback) Angel kissing her neck not once bearing teeth or giving her reason to fear, her face is flushed in extacy (end flashback)(fade out)

That time we took a ride

Ended up down by the river side

Soft touch, wet kiss

I always liked that best

(Flashback)Angel helps Cordelia out of the Plymouth and they walk hand and hand by the water. He brushes the hair out of her face and kisses her deeply and she instantly responds.

I like the way you used to hold me

I like the way you came to know me

You came to know me well

Well, well

(same flashback) He cups her cheek and she nuzzles her face deeper into his hand. She looks up at his eyes and they both smile, so happy and content. He kisses the top of her head and they walk off down the bank of the river, her head on his shoulder and his arms around her waiste.(end flashback)(fade out)

(Short Instrumental Break)

(flashback)Cordy in the bathroom as she looks at herself in the mirror. Face flushed. She's all a mess and brushes her hair. She notices Angel's shirt resting on the bathtub and she picks it up and puts it on.

Falling to sleep

Wearing your shirt cuz it smelled so sweet

Who could forget

I always liked that best

She walks out in his shirt, Angel shirtless on the bed. She crawls into his arms and falls into a peaceful sleep.(end flashback) (fade out) (New Flashback) (Fade In) Cordy laughing histarically

Or losing my heart

Everytime you sang to me on your guitar

Lady in red

I always liked that best

Angels on the bed playing guitar and singing while Cordelia is rolling with laughter. He stops and mocks hurt. She smiles and kisses his cheek as a thanks for the hillarious and sweet serenade.

I like the way you used to hold me

I like the way you came to know me

Came to know me well

Well well

He takes the initiative and with a playful laugh pins her to the bed, the playfulness however dissapears quickly as he siezes her mouth and it turns sensual. He draws the blanket over them. (end flashback) (fade out)

I could go on

So many things I miss now that your gone

Your love, oh yes

I always liked that best. (Fade in) (present day) Cordelia is revealed dressed in all white. She looks at Angel's sleeping yet restless figure. His tear stained cheeks evident. She gives a sad smile and touches his cheek before fading away. (Zoom in on Angel holding A picture of Cordy in his arms.) The End
