Vance Duke Returns To Hazzard County

“Coy, do you know anyone that has a big long black limo?” Trixie asked, taking a peek out the window.

“I don't, darling. I wonder who it could be?”

“It’s your cousin, Vance! He’s got two women with ‘em.” Trixie observed quietly as Coy opens the door.

“Hey you old sidewinder, I ain't seem you in a month of Sundays.” Coy exclaimed.

“Cousin, I've been living the high life. I've been rolling in dough since I made a movie called ‘The Black Night’ with these two lovely ladies.” Vance kissed the girl to his left and the one on his right both on the lips and then suggested, “Why don’t you invite the rest of the clan over, we'll have a high old time.”

After phone calls were made

Luke said. “Vance, this is my wife Karen and our kids Jesse, Robby and Bobby.”

Karen added. “Daisy and Enos couldn’t make it tonight but they promise they'll be over tomorrow.”

Bo was next. “This is my wife Candy Cane, our son little Bo and these two little darlings are our two daughters Honeybee and Tammy.”

Vance nodded. “You folks ready to see my movie?”

Candy smiled. “I haven’t ever met you but if your anything like Bo, I bet you’re a great actor.”

Coy puts the movie in the vcr while everyone else settles into chairs and seats on the couch,  Vance comes on the TV screen, then this girl in a bikini comes out and starts to undress him.

Bo hissed as Coy pressed the stop button on the vcr. “Vance, you've got a hell of a lot of explaining to do!”

“What in the world has come over you? Your momma and daddy brought you up to have more self respect then to be involved with this kind of smut.” Luke added as the children were rushed from the room by Karen and Trixie while everyone else got out of their seats.

Vance smirked. “I made more money for this one film then y’all make in your whole lives.”

Bo, Luke and Coy shrugged. “Maybe.”

“Y’all are just jealous that you’re not on your way to fame and fortune.” Vance exclaimed.

“But at what price is that fame?” Karen and Trixie echoed Candy’s words.

One of the lady friends said. “If you gave these guys enough money, they'd do it in a minute. Right tall, blond and hunk?”

“Not on your life lady, not that you are one. I love my family more then anything in this world and that's something that nobody could ever put a price on!” Bo proclaimed.

Coy added. “None of us are perfect and we've all acted stupid at one time or another but I know that I've changed.”

“Vance you used to be a good, decent, Christian man. How could you do this to yourself?” Luke wondered.

Coy stated. “I hate to say this but I think that you and your friends had better leave.”

Vance replied. “I'll be glad too and Trixie if you ever need a real man come out to Hollywood.”

Trixie spat at him. “I'd rather eat rats!”

Vance's other lady asked. “You sure you couldn't like to leave this boring life behind and go back to Hollywood with us?”

“Not for all the money in the world.” Bo shook his head as she bent down. “Candy Cane huh I bet that I'd make blondie a whole lot happier.”

Candy hauled off and knocked her so hard, she tumbled into Vance and their friend, and they all tumbled out the door in a heap. Everyone in the house was still laughin’ when the black limo sped out of the driveway several seconds later.

 That night…

“Trixie, I can't believe that Vance changed so much and I wish there was something that I could do.”

“All you can do is pray, Coy.”

“Karen, it's been one heck of a day.”

“It sure has Luke and tomorrow will probably be another one. Never knows what’s gonna happen here in Hazzard County.”

“Bo tell me the truth, do you ever regret getting married and being tied down to just one woman?”

“I've known a lot of pretty girls but you're the only WOMAN that I've ever known.”

“It's a good thing you said that or I'd have to hurt you.”

“Candy!”

I reckon y’all know what happened after that
