The Letter

Dear Bo,

I know that my leaving you like I did must have hurt you very deeply, but my darling if I didn’t leave you, my step father said that he would kill you and I just couldn’t let that happened, my dearest.

So please forgive me and don't hate me. I want you to know that there's not a day when I don't think about you and all of the happy times that we've shared. I want you to know that you'll always be in my heart and leaving you was the only thing that I could do because I'd die if anything ever happened to you.

I'll always think of the life that we could’ve shared Bo, so please don't try to find me because it’d be too dangerous for you. Just know that I never ever met to hurt you and that I'll always love you forever.

Your sweet Candy Cane

Well that old polecat Wayne Johnson found the letter. “Bo Duke this is one letter that you'll never see.” He lit a match and watched it burn after reading it.

Meanwhile in Hazzard

“Bo, you still miss that little gal don't you?”

The young man fought back tears. “Yes, I do, Uncle Jesse.”

“It's been almost a year. Maybe it's time for you to move on, Bo.”

“I guess so,” Bo wiped a tear from his dark blue eyes.

Three days later Bo goes out with Sally Anne Barnes to try and forget Candy Cane. He then started going out with other girls in Hazzard after Sally Anne, but even though they're beautiful, no one could take the place of his sweet little Candy Cane
