Buck was the first to drift off. Soon dreams filled his mind and a smile came upon his face while he slept. He was in a beautiful place, more beautiful than he had ever seen. There was lush green grass as far as the eyes could see. Nearby, gentle waterfalls eased his soul with the rushing sounds the water made. The sun was shining brightly and he found shade under a willow tree just above the falls. As he sat there taking in all the beauty this place had to offer, she appeared out of nowhere like a vision of pure loveliness.
She walked closer and closer without saying a word. Every sway of her body in tune with the whistle the breeze made through the trees. When their eyes met, all was understood by both. She finally reached him and sat down beside him. She smiled at him and took his hand in hers. His heart was beating like the drums he played not so long ago at his village. This music gave away to what sounded like a flute playing a soft melody for them.
She took her other hand and gently stroked the side of his face. Then with her index finger she began to outline the curves of his jawbone, then his brow and the rest of his face until she reached his lips. She leaned over and started to teasinly kiss the places she had just finished outlining. Keeping her other finger right on his upper lip making him wait for hers in anticipation.
The closer her lips got to his, every muscle in his body ached with desire. Never had a woman made him feel this way. Just as their lips were to meet, she drew back and took his other hand. She closed her eyes and leaned her head back swaying it from side to side slowly. Standing up she tugged at him until he was also standing. She then began to run her delicate hands over his shoulders, his back and finally his chest. He had closed his eyes in anticipation of what would happen next.
She leaned into him and placed her arms around his neck and began to dance slowly. This was all new to him and he delighted in the feelings that this kind of dancing brought. It wasn't to last long for she pushed back to look him in the eye. She then turned and lead him down by the waterfalls. They sat there with their feet dangling in the cool running water all the while understanding each other's every thought.
With an untamed passion written all over his face, Buck finally stood and took her by the hand. They walked back to the willow tree and he gently placed his arms around her. She looked into his eyes with a need that he had never seen before. As he began running his rugid hands over her shoulders, they both knew what was on the other's mind. He bent slighty towards her. When their lips finally met, there was no turning back. Both were filled with a desire neither could control. She reached up and took his hat off as he began to unbutton the front of her dress. She started unbuttoning his shirt till his chest was visible, then softly kissed it all over. As they tumbled to the ground, pleasure and unbridled passion filled them both.
He pushed up to look into the face of this beautiful woman realizing that not a word had been spoken between the two, yet each understood what the other had on their mind. He was so full of joy and excitement that he barely noticed her slipping away. Just as she had mysteriously appeared, she was disappearing.
He opened his eyes to a brand new day. The sun had just began to rise and the colors that filled the sky were breathtaking. As he lay there in his bed, he realized that he had only been dreaming. The aroma of Emma's special blended coffee could be smelt for miles around and he knew then it was time to get up. How could he when he felt so at peace with himself, so rested. He lay there for a few more minutes remembering the wonderful dream he had just woke up from.
He had never had a dream quite like this, but had often heard the other members of his tribe talk about it. He thought about telling the other riders but decided to keep it to himself. For to share such a dream would mean sharing his feelings, his spirit, his soul, his innermost desires.
As he headed out the bunkhouse, a look of contintment was on his face. For there would be more rainy nights in the future and more raindreams.
Drop me a note and let me know what you thought!
