Hi! welcome to my Detecive Investigation Files Review Page. Detective Investigation Files (DIF) is my favorite TV series of all times. I hope you like it too.

Introduction:

Detective Investigaiton Files is a very famous TV series, which is distributed by TVB. Now it is available in Cantonese, Mandarin and Veitnemese. The series consists of 100 episodes and it is divided into three parts. First Part consists of 20 episodes. Second Part consists of 40 episodes. Third Part consists of 40 episodes. There 26 cases are sovled. It will be boring if the series is only about how the detectives solving complex cases. So, there are also love stories, which is so complicated for people to guess who will they choose. That is the reason why I like the series. My favorite kind of TV series, Mystery and Romance. There is also Part IV, but Michael Tao had left TVB, so, everything is new. The main characters are played by Louis Koo Tin Lok, Sunny Chan, Maggie Siu Mei Kei and Jessica Hsuan.

Part I Summary:

Part I was produced during 1995. The main characters are played by Michael Tao Dai Yu, Leung Wing Chung, Kenix Kwok Ho Ying and Louisa So. Michael and Leung Wing Chung are police who are in charging of solving cases. Kenix is a reporter, she is working on the cases that are solved by the detectives. Louisa is the waitress of a bar, she has a son but not married though. Leung Wing Chung quickly falls for her but she doesn't like him because she wants to marry someone who is rich. Later she learns that she had fall for him also. They decide to get married. At, first Kenix has a boyfriend who later betryed her. After they break up, Michael starts to pursue her. Kenix catches the bouquet on Louisa and Leung Wing Chung's wedding. She and Michael ended up together.

Part II Summary:

Part II was produced during 1996. It is the same cast as Part I with the addition of Amy Kwok Oi Ming. Amy joins Leung Wing Chung and Michael's team. She had a crush on Michael, but he is already with Kenix. After a long time with this love triangle tension going on. Michael decide to choose Kenix. She faints mysteriously on the wedding and ended up having amnesia. She left for Canada with her family. :( Meanwhile, Leung Wing Chung and louisa are always bickering. When they make up and celebrate their wedding anniversary. Louisa is hit by a car and dies. :(

Part III Summary:

Part III was produced during 1997. Louisa past away in the end of second part, so she is not in here anymore. Still the same cast as in Part I and with in addition of Margaret Chung Lai Kei, Winnie Yeung Yuen Yee and Monica Chan Fatt Yung. Kenix comes back and Michael is torn between her and Monica. Leung Wing Chung is also torn between two wonderful ladies, Margaret and Winnie. Who did they chose, I'm sure you have already known.

Part IV Summary:

Part IV was produced during 1998--1999. Michael had left, so verything is new. But unfortunatly, I don't know what happened because I had never watched it. But I'm sure it's really good.
