MONDAY, DECEMBER 30TH
Alison and Rafe anticipate getting married. As Alison prepares to walk down the aisle, she is surprised to find a photo in the locket Rafe gave her that belonged to his mother. Elizabeth accepts Stephen's sudden marriage proposal. Joshua tricks Livvie into meeting him on the docks. Joshua tells Livvie he is going to kill her. Livvie runs away from Joshua, who then mistakes an arriving Tess for Livvie. Joshua pushes Tess in to the water. As Livvie tries to pull Tess out of the water, Joshua pushes her off the dock also. Only one person - Tess or Livvie - survives the ordeal. Kevin warns Ian to stay away from Lucy. Kevin becomes angry when he sees Ian comforting Lucy after Alison and Rafe call off their wedding.
As the wedding begins, Alison tells Rafe she can't marry him and there is a shocking reason why the two can't be together. Rafe reveals to Alison that Stephen turned Elizabeth into a vampire. Rafe asks Alison to trust him and they begin to make love. Stephen and Elizabeth are married, much to Lucy's dismay. Lucy is appalled by Kevin's behavior towards Ian. Tess and Livvie continue to struggle to stay alive in the water. As they try to help each other, Livvie and Tess begin spinning rapidly and merge into one person. Stephen senses that something is wrong with Livvie. The newly merged Tess/Livvie pulls herself from the water. Stephen has a vision of Livvie asking for help and leaves Elizabeth. Ian goes to confront Stephen but encounters Elizabeth, who bites him on the neck. Stephen finds Tess/Livvie on the docks. Tess/Livvie tells Stephen that she is Tess, who claims she will protect Livvie from Stephen. Jack races out to find Tess and sees her with Stephen. Jack attacks Stephen, who knocks Jack unconscious. As Tess begs Stephen not to hurt Jack, Stephen turns and reveals his vampire fangs.
TUESDAY, DECEMBER 31ST
Jack's superhuman strength returns and he attacks Caleb as he's about to bite Tess. Jack vows to protect Tess. Caleb is repelled when he tries to bite Tess. Tess tells Jack that Livvie is gone. Ian is furious when he realizes Elizabeth bit him. Ian rebuffs Elizabeth's advances. Caleb tells Elizabeth that if she ever bites someone, he would have to kill that person as well as Elizabeth. Rafe and Alison make love. Alison's fears about her and Rafe being siblings resurface. Lucy tells Alison she agrees with Rafe when he says Caleb is manipulating them. Alison decides to move until the issue is resolved once and for all.
WEDNESDAY, JANURARY 1ST
Pre-empted because of New Years Day.
THURSDAY, JANURARY 2ND
Alison says a painful goodbye to Rafe. Elizabeth doesn't tell Caleb that she bit Ian. Caleb is sympathetic to Elizabeth's confusion over what she has become and her fears of being unloved. Rafe goes to the rehearsal hall looking for Caleb. Joshua orders the band, who are revealed to be vampires, to attack Rafe. Rafe quickly emerges victorious. Caleb and Rafe come face to face. Jack plans on making it appear as though Livvie left town. Kevin arrives looking for Livvie and doesn't buy Jack's story. Kevin is amazed by Tess' resemblance to Livvie. Tess admits to Kevin that Livvie drowned. Kevin accuses Tess of killing Livvie.
FRIDAY, JANURARY 3RD
Caleb becomes enraged when Rafe taunts him about Livvie. Later, Caleb seems to have killed Rafe. Tess tells Kevin that Livvie lives inside her and that she is protecting Livvie. Kevin is unsettled by Tess' touch when she tries to ease his pain and anger. Kevin pushes Tess away, causing her to fall into the water. Ian has an erotic dream about Lucy. Ian tries to push Lucy away when she wakes him from his nightmare. Lucy refuses to leave Ian, who confirms Lucy's fear that he has become a vampire.
