Do you have a job? Make-up for Glamour You Picture Company.


Do you have any formal singing training? No.


Where have you performed before? All-Schools, All-State and All-West concerts, banquets, weddings and parties, church choir functions all the time.


When did you first start to sing? I first started to sing when I was 2, but out publicly when I was 6.


What is your favorite song to sing? Everything because I don't really have a favorite. I like it all, but if I had to say, it would be "The Way We Were" by Willie Hutch.


What is the first concert you went to? Celine Dion and I was 16 years old.


What is the last concert you went to? A rap and R&B concert a year ago. I've only been to three in my life.


What other talents do you have? On my own time, I give a little vocal training to whoever wants it from me. I dance, braid and weave hair, give pedicures and I'm a beauty advisor arching, plucking and waxing eyebrows. Oh, I also can cut guys' hair and give lines.


If you don't make it on AMERICAN IDOL, what will you do? Well, I will still try and pursue a music career. And I would go home.


What are your goals in life? To be a legend in the music business and to take the world by storm from here on out.


What album would your friends be surprised you own? They wouldn't be surprised because I sing everything down from gospel to heavy metal.


What is the first CD you ever bought? "I Wanna Dance With Somebody" by Whitney Houston.


What is in your CD player right now? Faith Evans.


Who is your AMERICAN IDOL? Jesus Christ is my idol, but American Idol - My mother Monica Coleman.


What is your favorite type of music? Ballads.

Favorite female pop artist? The old Whitney Houston.


Favorite album? Don't really have a favorite, but I'll say anything old like The Supremes.


Who in the music world do you think your style is most like? Pop/R&B and I will sell.


Most embarrassing moment? I don't have one.


If you couldn't sing, which talent would you most like to have? A dancer or a teacher to reach out to the kids because they need us.


What has been your proudest moment in life so far? I've lived this far and I touch and move people when I sing and that's a proud moment for me.


What is your definition of an AMERICAN IDOL? Me!!


Why do you want to be an AMERICAN IDOL? Because it's my time to shine and not only do I have a talent, my personality matches and I feel that I have a message that everybody in America needs.


Do you think the audition process was fair? Yes, I do.


Who is your favorite judge and why? All of them because I don't have a favorite because all of them are real.


Who is your least favorite judge and why? I don't have a least favorite.


What advice do you have for other hopefuls? Follow your dream and when it comes down to it, knock a dent in them.


What would people be surprised to learn about you? That I have kids, if they didn't know.


Who did you think was going to win last season? Tamyra Gray.


If you could be a performer from any era, which would you choose and why? When the Whitneys, Arethas, Pattis, Chakas because I'm a true singer and they are definitely true singers and that's what I want to bring back.
