Do you have any formal singing training? Grade school (breathing training).


Where have you performed before? Grade school motivational concerts and talent shows, church, Little Nashville Opry, Jimmie Dean Country Showdown, Tootsie's Orchid Lounge, weddings, funerals.


When did you first start to sing? Four years old.

What is the first concert you went to? Sandi Patti and Praise Gathering.


What is the last concert you went to? George Strait and Jo Dee Messina.


What other talents do you have? None.


If you don't make it on AMERICAN IDOL, what will you do? I'll do the same thing I did in December. I'll leave Cali with high spirits and know that when it's my time to shine, I will.


What are your goals in life? To follow my dreams, be successful, get married, have a family and be successful at that too.

Most embarrassing moment? I was 11 and in the middle of a recital singing "I've Been Through Enough" and my tooth fell out!

What has been your proudest moment in life so far? The births of my nieces and nephews.


What is your definition of an AMERICAN IDOL? Fun, personality, good hearted, talented.


Why do you want to be an AMERICAN IDOL? Because I feel I have everything it takes to take that title and run with it!


Do you think the audition process was fair? Yes I do.


Who is your favorite judge and why? Probably Simon because of his honesty.


Who is your least favorite judge and why? Randy, I suppose. And there really isn't a reason. I like them all.


What advice do you have for other hopefuls? Be yourself, keep your head high and follow your dreams, trust in God, good things come to those who wait.


What would people be surprised to learn about you? I'm adopted.
