Welcome to the site dedicated to some of the couples of the longest running drama, Guiding Light. Guiding Light began on the radio in January of 1937, then it moved to television in June of 1952.
The show is set in Springfield, a fictional midwestern town and features various families including the old favs - Bauers, Spauldings, Lewises, Chamberlains, Reardons, Marlers, Coopers, and Thorpes - and new ones including the Winslows and the LeMay's.
Follow these couples and many more as they go through their highs and lows, happiness and loss.
