7-Day Forecast Discussion Updated: 12/07/07 @ 7:45 am
looking over the very latest computer guidence models we use here in the
goar stormcenter things have changed slightly for the better for folks here
in the dfw metroplex region, iam thinking now the major ice storm that we have
been confident that was going to happen is going to be just to our west and northwest, now this is just from the latest run, it has been very consistant
until this point, so things could change back in the direction we was heading
but you can take note from the "ice storm graphic" above in our weather images
i have pushed the ice storm area just to the west of the dfw area to points nw
of say a bowie to mineral wells line, this is all happening becouse the models are suggusting that the front is going to hang up in our area and keep temps right at or just above the freezing mark, however let me stress this however the front could 'surge' ahead which i have been thinking it might all along and if it does that will set the stage for a major mess of ice across the metroplex from sunday late through about tuesday morning. this situation
is very much changing minute by minute and we will have more data in later this morning into the afternoon and by then we should have a better handle on this upcoming winter weather situation. more updates later
