Episode 6.16: Bridesmaids Revisited

Airdate: February 28, 2006

Proud parents Lorelai and Christopher attend a journalism panel at Yale where Rory dazzles the crowd. Afterwards, Lorelai offers to help Christopher (David Sutcliffe) out by babysitting his 4-year-old daughter and is horrified by the toddler's terrible behavior. The next day, Rory and Logan attend the wedding of Logan's sister, Honor (guest star Devon Sorvari). While helping the bride and her three bridesmaids get ready, Rory is devastated to learn how Logan spent his time during their recent breakup. Logan tries to defend his actions, but a devastated Rory turns to Lorelai and Paris for comfort. Finally, Lane is still heartbroken over Zach (guest star Todd Lowe), until he turns up at the diner with a surprise. Scott Patterson and Sean Gunn also star.

Rory takes action after learning how Logan spent his time during their recent breakup.

- Can't say [which show's leading men had an affair with a girl named Walker], but the revelation does lead to a rather nasty (and possibly permanent) split.

Paris is learning how to play the trumpet. Lane goes to Sophie's Music Store to put up an ad saying "Drummer available." While she is at the store, she notices that someone is playing acoustic music... it's Zach and Joel. At Yale, the editors from the top colleges of the U.S. take part in a panel on "Young Voices of Journalism." Christopher and Lorelai are in the audience to cheer for Rory. Rory accompanies Logan at Honor's (his sister) wedding. Rory hangs out with Honor and her bridesmaids and learns a few things about Logan's past relationships. Lorelai babysits G.G., Christopher's daughter. Doyle also appears.

Christopher's daughter, G.G., is now four years old and keeps saying "No" to everything! A young 13-year-old named Julia is highly excited during her Bat Mitzvah. There is a panel discussion with editors from the top colleges of the US.

Episode 6.17: Title Unknown

Airdate: Spring 2006

Rory drops by Anna's store. Kirk's job-of-the-week involves real estate. He takes over the Inn's living room with his papers. Lolerai is somewhat annoyed by Kirk especially since he refers to himself as "Kirk." Zack also appears.

General Season 6 Spoilers:

As of now, David Sutcliffe (Christopher) is not scheduled to appear. For now. Seeing Jess is a definite possibility early in the season, but I think we've seen the last of Dean for a while. As it is, they both have new WB shows of their own — Milo, with The Bedford Diaries and Jared, with Supernatural.

From Amy Sherman-Palladino: "Rory faces her new life away from Yale, away from Lorelai, and living with the Gilmores. And Luke answers Lorelai's proposal."

Logan (Matt Czuchry) will be back for the entire season, but I'm not sure he'll technically be considered a regular.

Scott Patterson will stay on as Luke for at least the 6th season. A deal for a 7th season (like Bledel and Graham have) is not in place yet.

Lorelai (Lauren Graham) finally fulfilled her dream of opening the Dragonfly Inn and, to the delight of women everywhere, got serious with longtime friend, Luke. Rory (Alexis Bledel) furthered her journalism career at Yale and got an internship at the paper owned by Logan's dad. Yes, that Logan (formerly Mr. Non-committal), now her full-fledged billionaire boyfriend. So what bigger news could be brought about by season 6? Well, both of the Gilmore ladies will have their worlds shaken and stirred, bonding mother and daughter closer than ever. Bring plenty of tissues and cappuccino mix because the 6th season will plop major life decisions onto their collective laps.

Christopher will be back next season.

Amy Sherman-Palladino has already written the final scene of the show (which will be between Rory and Lorelai) even though it's not known when the series will end. She hopes to end the show with Rory's Yale graduation.
