Home At Last The Night Before Phoebe Comes Home

by SivanTamam

"It's time to go," Piper shouted to Prue.

"Wait a minute, I'm not ready yet," Prue screamed back from her bedroom.

Piper and Prue were packing to go on their trip to New Orleans. Since Phoebe had left with her job Prue and Piper were closer than ever before. Prue ran downstairs hoping that her sister hadn't left without her.

"Hurry up," Piper yelled.

"Coming, coming," Prue called back to Piper.

They got in the car and went to the airport. The drive wasn't so good because the man behind them was beeping his horn most of the time. When they got there they sorted out their tickets and hurried over to the boarding counter.

"Phew, we made it," Piper breathed.

"Yeah and just in the nick of time,"Prue answered.

They boarded the aeroplane and sat quietly, 4 hours later they were listening to the air hostess tell the passengers to fasten their seatbelts as they were about to land in New Orleans. They landed safely and got out.

"At last we're in the big easy," Piper announced.

"The big easy," Prue laughed, "Are you joking."

They walked down an isle so they could go get lunch at Remy's. Unfortunately when they got there, there was a two hour wait. Piper loved anything to do with cooking and started moaning when they couldn't get a table, so Prue told her they would come another day. They went down an alley way to get to the nearby sandwich shop. Suddenly, out of nowhere someone jumped out of the bushes.

"Don't turn around and don't look at me," The mugger said, "Give me all your money."

He was holding a gun at Piper's back and it hurt.

"What do we do now?" Piper whispered.

"Give him your money, stupid," Prue answered.

"No," Piper disagreed.

Piper turned around as quickly as she could. What am I doing? Piper thought. Prue remembered she had done Kung-Fu over the holidays, so she turned around and kicked the mugger in the stomach in order to save her sister. They ran for ages until they thought they had lost him.

"We've got to get out of this place," Piper cried.

"You're right," Prue answered.

They went to the airport and demanded that they go back straight away. The lady at the counter was kind and let them go back to San-Francisco. They boarded onto the aeroplane and said in unison "That was close."

At last they were back in San-Francisco and back in The Manor.

"Home at last," they breathed in unison.
