It's about dawn, Piper Halliwell woke up thirsty and went for a glass of water. Prue and Phoebe are both upstairs sleeping, fast asleep after a night of partying at P3. Piper stood by the window in the living room and touched the curtains.
Piper: They're dusty. Euww, as if I didn't have enough to do.
Suddenly Piper had a premonition, which would seem impossible since she has the power to freeze.
Piper: Prue! Phoebe! Come quick.
A few seconds later, Prue and Phoebe came running downstairs.
Prue: What is it? What's going on?
Phoebe: Yeah, what's all the commotion about? What are you doing up so early?
Piper: I don't know, I touched the curtain and I think that I just had a premonition.
Prue: What? That's impossible!
Phoebe: Wait a minute. it is possible. Remember when mom was pregnant with me, she had a premonition.
Prue: Yeah, but that would mean that Piper's pregnant. [Pause for about three seconds, the three sisters stare at each other for a second.] Oh my god, Piper's pregnant.
Piper: What? This can't be? I can't have a baby, how can we fight evil if we're always worrying about the baby? I don't feel so good, this is too much to handle.
Phoebe: This is the best news ever, next to being witches of course.
Piper: I don't know.
Prue: Wait a minute, back to the premonition. Tell us everything that happened.
Piper: Well, I woke up and decided to go and get a drink of water.
Phoebe: Then what?
Piper: Well, I drank the glass and placed it inside the sink. Then I came to the living room and checked to see if Phoebe had remembered to take out the trash. Then I touched the curtain and noticed that it was dusty. Then I had the premonition.
Phoebe: What did you see?
Piper: It was foggy, the book was over there, where the table is; the table wasn't of course. It was open to a page; it was blurry so I couldn't make it out. There was a ring of fire around the book. Phoebe was a statue, and Leo was dead. The curtain was on fire, and it was spreading through the manor.
Piper now has tears running down her face, seeing her sister as stone and her sister dead has gotten to her.
Prue: Don't worry, we'll figure this out.
Phoebe: We have to. You have to live Piper, for you, for Leo, for us, and most importantly for that baby that's inside of you.
Piper: I know, but I'm scared.
Prue: I am too honey, but we'll make it through this; I know we will.
Phoebe: Go get some rest Piper, Prue and I will search the book. We'll let you know if anything comes up.
Prue: Piper, Phoebe's right; go and get some rest.
Piper goes upstairs shortly; Prue and Phoebe go up to the attic. Half way up the stairs, Phoebe ran back downstairs and touched the curtain. She had the same premonition as Piper. She ran upstairs and caught up with Prue.
Prue: What did you see?
Phoebe: (Talking to Prue and searching through the Book Of Shadows at the same time.) I saw the same thing as Piper. I'm happy to hear that she's pregnant, Leo will be thrilled.
Prue: Leo, that's right. We haven't told him. Le-
Phoebe cut Prue off.
Phoebe: No, you can't tell him about the baby, let Piper do that.
Prue: I wasn't going to, I was going to tell him about the Premonition you had.
Phoebe: I knew that.
Prue: (Sarcastically) Sure you did.
Phoebe: Wait, tell him about this too.
Phoebe showed Prue a page in the Book Of Shadows. Phoebe began to read:
"To better understand a premonition cut a small piece of the object which causes the premonition and soak it. Then magically hold it in the air and read the following chant:
Power of good,
Power within,
Strengthen the power of this wonderful witch.
Show her the light in a darkened road,
And help her to better understand what magic shows her.
Strengthen her senses,
Enhance her mind,
Help this person,
To identify a sign.The cutout will then become a doorway; it will lead to the Desert Of Premona. Once the witch goes through the portal, a statue of the witch will appear where she feels the most love. Once in the desert, the witch will go through a series of tests. Once she has passed the three tests, she will have a premonition that has more detail. The witch will better understand the premonition and will know what to do."
Prue: It makes sense now.
Phoebe: Yeah, now we know why I was stone, but why was the Book Of Shadows downstairs, and what evil killed Leo and set the house on fire? Most importantly, if I go to the desert, the evil will attack while I'm gone.
Prue: Then hurry up. Go downstairs and cut a piece of the curtain. I'll call Leo and tell him.
Phoebe ran downstairs. Prue called Leo and told him of the situation. Phoebe walked back into the attic carrying a pillow-sized piece of the curtain, it is soaked.
Prue: Okay, Leo, orb up and tell "them" about what Phoebe is doing.
Leo: Hey, where's Piper?
Prue: Resting, it was a long night.
Leo: Oh, okay. Good luck Phoebe.
Phoebe: Thanks.
Leo orbed up. Prue used telekinesis to hold the curtain, and then she read the spell.
Prue:
Power of good,
Power within,
Strengthen the power of this wonderful witch.

Help this person,
To identify a sign.The cloth began to glow and stretched down towards the floor. It glowed brighter and was nothing more than a bright light.
Prue: Be careful.
Phoebe: I will.
Phoebe walked into the light, Prue saw her suddenly disappear. There was then a loud noise downstairs. Prue ran downstairs to the living room.
Prue: Piper, what are you doing up?
Piper: I heard a loud crash and came running downstairs. That's not the point, why is Phoebe a statue? Prue. what's happening?
Suddenly Leo orbed into the manor. Meanwhile, Phoebe is walking in a hot, dry desert. She is walking and scared. Suddenly her father appears.
Phoebe: Dad? It can't be. Who are you?
Victor: It's me honey, the man that left you and your family.
Phoebe: You're not that man anymore!
Victor: Aren't I? I only show up for the good stuff, I'm never around for the difficult times.
Phoebe: That's not true!
Victor: Honey, it's okay. I deserve your harsh treatment. Just admit it.
Phoebe now looks down at the ground and sees herself, she sees her and her family suffering, Victor hasn't been in any of these sad sights.
Victor: You see.
Phoebe: You've made mistakes, but you've been trying to make up for them. You were there when I was shot, and you were there when Prue caused trouble at Piper's wedding. No one is perfect; we all make mistakes. That's not what's important. What's important is that you realize you were wrong and you want to try and make up for that. That's what's important.
Victor: Thank you!
Victor vanished and Phoebe is once again walking.
Back in the manor, Leo has just orbed back.
Prue: Leo, what did you find out?
Piper: Leo? Prue, does he know?
Leo: Know what?
Prue: Uhh.he knows what's going on with Phoebe, that's it.
Piper: At least he knows, because I don't.
Prue: Remember the premonition that Phoebe had?
Piper: (looking confused) Uhh.yeah?
Prue: Well, it was very vague and we needed more to work with.
Leo: So they looked in the Book Of Shadows and found a spell that would transport Phoebe to the Desert Of Premona, there she would be challenged with difficult situations. Once she passes the three tests, she will know about the premonition and what to do.
Prue: She's there now and.(yawn) .that's why this statue is here.
Piper: And all this happened in.(she looks at the clock).an hour and a half?
Prue: Yep.
Leo: I talked to the elders about the situation.
Piper: What did they say?
We now see Phoebe again. This time she's caught in a sandstorm, suddenly time freezes. Andy appears.
Phoebe: Andy? Is it really you?
Andy: Yeah, it's me.
Phoebe: Oh, I see. What's the test?
Andy: You were always smart; I'll be honest with you. You won't make it past what lies ahead. Go back now, and help save the lives of Leo, Prue, Piper, and her daughter. Go, before it's too late.
Phoebe: I can't!
Andy: You have to, don't you see? You can't win this fight, what lies ahead is stronger than the source himself; you can't beat that.
Phoebe: I can't just back off, I have to try.
Andy grabs Phoebe.
Andy: Listen to me, go - NOW!
Phoebe: No, you go.
Phoebe jumps into the air and kicks Andy away. She runs away from him. Seconds later she looks back; there is no sign of Andy.
Leo: The elders said that they don't know what's going to attack you, only Phoebe knows.
Piper: What if Phoebe doesn't come back?
Prue: She will!
Piper: How do you know that? You don't know what she's facing!
Prue: You're right, but I have to keep strong.
Piper: You're right, it's that I don't like the feeling of not knowing what to do. What are we going to do, just sit here and wait until whatever's out there comes and kills us?
Prue: No, we wait for Phoebe.
Piper: So that's it? No backup plan?
Prue: Like you said, what else can we do?
Piper: I don't know; let's check the book. Leo, can you sense Phoebe?
Leo: No, I can't.
Piper: Then we'll stand guard. Here's the plan.
Suddenly the door swing open, Leo is thrown into the air and hits the statue. Leo is unconscious.
Prue: Piper!
Piper freezes time. An average sized woman in tight leather pants stands frozen in the Halliwell living room. She has a crystal ball in her hand.
Piper: What is she?
Prue: I don't know.
Rokhsana: (Rock_San_uh) Boo!
Piper shrieks.
We now see Phoebe in the desert again. She's walking and hears a voice calling her name.
Phoebe: Cole? Cole, where are you?
Cole: Over here.
Phoebe: Cole? How did you get here?
Cole: That doesn't matter, this does. I've reached an agreement with the Source. If you give up your powers, then we can be together.
Phoebe: How could you even ask me that, you know that I can't.
Cole: If you don't accept, he'll kill me.
Phoebe: I don't know what to say. I love you, and you know that; but I've learned a lot as a witch. I've learned that sometimes you have to make sacrifices for the greater good. Cole, I want us to be together more than anything, but I can't sacrifice the lives of all the innocents that we're meant to save.
Cole: Don't you care about what happens to me?
Phoebe: You're not Cole, even Belthazar knows better than to ask that. I guess that what I'm saying is that I have no choice but to sacrifice you for the greater good.
Suddenly the desert became a beach, and Phoebe is wearing a beautiful long dress. She has beautiful make up and he hair is very nice. Her instincts tell her what to do.
Prue: Piper watch out!
Prue pushes Piper out of the way, Rokhsana's crystal ball hit's Prue. Prue is out cold.
Back on the beach Phoebe kneels and puts her face into the water, her eyes open. She has a premonition.
It's the book, where it was in her previous premonition. She sees herself rip off the cover and she throws it at Prue, Prue stands up. The three sisters stand tall, strong, and together. The cover of the Book Of Shadows becomes a ball that looks similar to Rokhsana's crystal ball, they hold each other's hands and the ball floats and then shoots directly at her.
Suddenly Phoebe is still wearing what she wore at the beach. She's in the attic and grabs the Book Of Shadows, she runs downstairs.
Rokhsana screams and fire comes out of her mouth, it misses Phoebe. She pushes the table out of the way and rips off the cover of the Book Of Shadows. Piper looks surprised to see Phoebe, but confused because she doesn't see why Phoebe is doing this. Phoebe tossed the cover of the book at Prue and she woke up.
The three held hands and the cover of the Book Of Shadows was floating. Rokhsana was throwing things at them such as chairs and plates, but a protective force prevented it from hitting the Charmed Ones.
The cover to the Book Of Shadows was glowing and changing shape. It became a ball similar to Rokhsana's, just as in Phoebe's premonition. It shot directly at Rokhsana. It flew right through her, and she was trapped in the ball. The ball then went back on top of the Book Of Shadows and became a cover once again.
Piper: Leo!
Piper held Leo in her arms, he was slowly waking up.
Leo: Where's the woman? What's going on?
Piper: That doesn't matter now. Prue and I are okay. Phoebe's back and wearing an outfit I've dreamed of owning. You're doing fine, and a baby's on the way for the two of us.
Leo: What?
Piper: I'm pregnant.
