Sweet Dreams Phoebe

It is a bustling morning in the Halliwell kitchen. Piper is trying to scramble eggs, fry bacon, and make coffee simultaneously. Prue is looking through the business section of the morning paper and watching the early news on TV. Phoebe is where she usually is at 8:00 am, sleeping soundly in bed. Piper turns off the stove and begins putting all the food onto three plates. She turns her head towards the stairs to yell for Phoebe.

"Phoebe," Piper yells towards Phoebe’s room, "if you want any breakfast you better get down here. I don’t know how long I can hold Prue back from your plate!"

Prue looks over the top of her newspaper and gives Piper an annoyed look. "Yeah right Piper, like I’m half the pig Phoebe is."

Piper picks up two plates and walks over to the table where Prue is sitting. She sets a plate in front of Prue and digs into her own bacon and eggs. "You know," Piper says around a mouth full of eggs, "if Phoebe doesn’t get a job soon I swear she’s gonna become one of those fat women with curlers and a plastic cap over their head who can recite every line of Days of Our Lives from the past ten years."

Prue laughs hysterically at this image of Phoebe. She sets down the paper and starts to eat her breakfast. "I don’t know about that Piper. But it would be nice if she had money of her own instead of using my credit cards all the time."

The two oldest Halliwells eat their breakfast in silence for about two minutes when they hear a shriek from upstairs. They drop their forks and prepare to run up the stairs when they hear Phoebe’s voice. "COLD!!! COLD!!! God, is it physically impossible to get a warm shower in this house?"

Piper and Prue smile and breathe a little sigh of relief. They sit back down and finish breakfast.

Prue looks at her watch and slaps her hand on her forehead. "Oh my God, I am so late, I gotta go. Sorry for not helping you clean up Piper. Make our lazy little sister do it. She should be wide awake and full of energy after that freezing shower." Prue grabs her keys and runs out the front door.

Piper picks up the two plates and puts them in the dishwasher. She is wiping off the counter when Phoebe bursts into the kitchen. "You know I don’t ask for much from you people." Phoebe says while towel-drying her hair. "Just leave me like a pint of hot water in the morning please. I feel like an ice cube."

Piper laughs at her younger sister and throws the dish rag at her. "Your food is in the oven. I gotta get to the club pronto. Someone is suppose to be there in fifteen minutes to put in a new air conditioner in the back. Will you clean up this mess in the kitchen?"

Phoebe opens the oven door and smiles at the sight of a good breakfast. "Sure I’ll clean up. Have a good day at work. Make us lots of money!!"

Piper grabs her keys and heads for the door. Right before she leaves the house she turns back around and yells back at the kitchen. "I’m gonna have to make more money the way you spend the stuff!"

Phoebe rolls her eyes as she hears the front door close. "Can I help it if I’m a shop-a-holic?" she says to the empty room.

Phoebe finishes her breakfast and begins the task of cleaning up. After about an hour, she stands back and admires her own good work. She throws down the dish rag and goes into the living room to watch TV. She grabs the remote and turns the TV on. Phoebe smiles when she sees that her favorite show Xena: Warrior Princess is on. "Alright!" she says out loud. "Time to watch my favorite ass-kicking female!"

Phoebe is completely engrossed in the adventures of Xena and doesn’t notice the black smoke that is coming up from the floor behind the couch she is sitting on. The cloud of smoke continues to rise until it starts to take the form of a man. A tall, dark man, with evil features and eyes that glow bright red.

The man fully appears and takes a step towards Phoebe. She hears something behind her, but she assumes it’s Kit and doesn’t take her attention off the television. The dark figure slowly walks towards Phoebe and puts a hand on her shoulder.

Phoebe is startled out of her TV coma and jumps around quickly. She sees this demonic-looking being and immediately retreats to the opposite side of the room. The demon laughs at her fear and shakes his finger at her. "Don’t worry my dear, I’m not going to harm you. In fact, I just dropped by for a moment to get a quick look at you, if that’s alright. Oh, and I was wondering if I could borrow this." The demon picked up the pillow Phoebe had been laying on and put it under his jacket.

Phoebe searched her surroundings for some sort of weapon. The only thing she could find was an umbrella leaning against the wall. She picked up the umbrella and swung around to try to defend herself. But when she turned back around to the demon, he had completely vanished. She let out a huge sigh of relief and walked over to the spot where the demon had been standing. There was a faint trail of black dust over the area where the demon had walked. Phoebe ran her finger through the trail and lifted it up to her nose. She had no idea what the black dust was, it looked like simple ash to her. "I don’t like the looks of this," Phoebe said as she went to get the phone to call Prue at Buckland’s.

* * *

Prue was busy cataloging a new shipment of antiques for Claire when her telephone rang. She quit typing on her computer and answered the phone. "Prue Halliwell," she said in her business-like voice.

"Prue some scary warlock guy just appeared out of nowhere in our living room," Phoebe said bluntly.

Prue immediately got motherly with her baby sister. "Are you OK Phoebe? Did he hurt you at all?"

Phoebe just gave a confused grunt into the phone. "That’s what’s so weird about it. He said he didn’t want to hurt me. He said he just wanted a quick look at me or something. Uh, and he stole a pillow." Phoebe replied. "Oh yeah, he left like this trail of black powder all over the place where he walked. I have no idea what it is. But it doesn’t seem to be dangerous or anything."

Prue frowned a little. "Well, I highly doubt that any warlock or demon just came by for a casual visit. And why in the world would he want a pillow. I don’t like this at all. I want you to get out of the house now. Go over to P3 and give Piper a hand for the rest of the day. Then we’ll figure out who this guy is when we all get home tonight."

"OK Prue, you’re the boss. See ya tonight."

"Bye, Pheebs." Prue hung up the phone and stared blankly at the computer screen in front of her. She couldn’t figure out why this demon hadn’t tried to attack Phoebe when she was alone in the house. It would be a lot easier to hurt Phoebe when she didn’t have Prue or Piper around. Prue frowned again. I really don’t like this, she thought to herself. She sighed and went back to her work. There was nothing she could do right now and Phoebe would be safe with Piper at P3.

* * *

Piper was busy showing her employees where all the new glasses and dishes where being stored when Phoebe walked into the club. Piper waved at her, but Phoebe looked like she had something on her mind and didn’t notice. Piper gave the last of her instructions and headed towards Phoebe. Phoebe looked relieved to see Piper.

"Piper, god, I’m glad you’re here." Phoebe said.

Piper squinted her eyes at Phoebe and put her arm around her little sister. "What’s wrong Pheebs? You look totally spooked out."

Phoebe gave a little laugh at that. "You don’t know the half of it." Phoebe proceeded to tell Piper the whole story about the warlock and the pillow and the black powder. Phoebe finished her story and waited for Piper’s response.

Piper reacted almost exactly the same way Prue did. "Are you OK? He didn’t hurt you in any way?"

Phoebe just shrugged. "Nope. But like Prue said this wasn’t a social call. I don’t think demons with glowing red eyes do social calls."

Piper gave her a reassuring smile. "Don’t worry about it Pheebs. We’ll take care of this thing when we get home tonight. I’m sure The Book of Shadows will tell us exactly what to do."

Phoebe felt a lot better now that she was with one of her sisters. "Yep. This guy doesn’t know what he’s in for. I’m in the mood to do a little Xena-ass-kicking on a warlock tonight." Phoebe gives her best Xena yell and grins at Piper.

Piper laughs and rolls her eyes at Phoebe. "You have got to quit watching that show so much."

* * *

All three sisters arrive home at the same time. Phoebe takes Prue and Piper to the living room to show them the trail of black powder. Phoebe kneels down and looks all over the carpet and can’t find any traces of the powder. "I’m telling you it was here when I left the house today," Phoebe says.

They head to the attic to look at The Book of Shadows. They look through the entire book and can’t find anything about the demon that Phoebe saw. Baffled, Phoebe sets on the floor and taps her fingers on the side of her face. Prue sets down beside her. "Maybe you fell asleep Pheebs. Maybe it was a dream." Prue looks at Piper who is nodding in agreement.

Phoebe gives them both an annoyed look and wiggles away from Prue. "I didn’t fall asleep and it wasn’t a dream. He was right there. He said all that stuff... left the trail of dust... took a pillow..." Phoebe jumps up in excitement. "That’s it. I’ll prove to you he was here. I’ll show you that one of my pillows is missing!"

Phoebe runs down the stairs with Prue and Piper following her. They both look skeptical about Phoebe’s pillow theory. They are pretty sure that Phoebe dreamed the whole thing and then let her imagination run away with her...again.

Phoebe looks at the couch and sees her pillow lying there, seemingly untouched. She plops down on the couch and throws up her arms. "OK, I give up. I guess maybe I did dream it. I was tired after cleaning the kitchen and I guess I just dozed off. Sorry for worrying you guys."

Piper just smiles and says, "Don’t worry about it Phoebe. With as much crazy stuff that goes on around here, it’s easy to let your imagination get a little carried away."

Prue nods in agreement. "Well, now that’s settled... what’s for dinner Piper?"

The three head to the kitchen to see what they want to eat. None of the sisters notice that when Phoebe tossed her pillow back on the couch, black dust fell out of it.

* * *

The girls had a great dinner of leftover casserole and Piper’s delicious chocolate brownies. They sat in the kitchen and talked for a couple hours after their meal. They were all tired and decided to go to bed early. On the way to her bedroom, Phoebe grabbed her pillow off the couch. She tossed the pillow on her bed and went to the bathroom to get ready for bed. She put on her pajamas and hugged her pillow tightly. It was only a matter of minutes before she fell asleep.

The Halliwell house was silent all night. At 2:00 AM, the same dark cloud of smoke rose up next to Phoebe’s bed. The demon could barely contain his excitement at being so close to killing the Charmed Ones. He laughed out loud and Phoebe shot up in her bed. She saw the demon and yelled for Prue and Piper. The demon laughs uproariously at this. "Scream all you want dear, they can’t hear you. No one outside this room can hear you. It’s a little trick I picked up from a mystic back in the 1800s, do you like it?"

Phoebe knew she was in trouble. "Who are you?" was all she managed to say though her trembling lips.

The dark man took a deep bow and said, "I am the Sleep Stalker. And I can guarantee you’ve never seen a demon quite like me. No, I’m not like the Dream Sorcerer your sister Prue faced. And I’m not as careless as the "Woogeyman", as you call him, was. You see Phoebe, I’ve been studying the Charmed One s for quite some time now. I know your strengths and weaknesses. And your the weakness Phoebe."

Phoebe was near tears now, she knew she was trapped. "What are you talking about? I am not weak. I’ve not afraid of anything, especially an overgrown pile of ashes like you." Phoebe stood up to the warlock, hoping to intimidate him at least a little.

The Sleep Stalker laughed again at Phoebe. "You are weak because your power is passive. Without your sisters, you are nothing but a psychic with magic 8-ball. And I’m going to use you as bait for your sisters."

Phoebe knows she is at the mercy of the Sleep Stalker and crumples down on her bed and cries. She is actually starting to believe the Stalker’s comments on her weakness. He’s right, she thinks, my power can do nothing to help me when I really need it.

The Sleep Stalker sees Phoebe is giving up and knows that now is the best time to take her to his realm. There he will use her to lure in the two older sisters and proceed to rid the world of the Charmed Ones forever.

Phoebe looks up and sees the Stalker pull a handful of black powder out from the pocket of his jacket. The Stalker looks at the young witch and smiles. "Sweet dreams Phoebe," he says as he tosses the powder on Phoebe.

Phoebe takes one last look at the demon and collapses onto the bed. The Sleep Stalker laughs again and vanishes.

* * *

Piper could hear Phoebe’s alarm clock buzzing. She poked her head out of the bathroom door and waited to see if Phoebe was ever going to turn the annoying machine off. Maybe she’s already in the other bathroom taking a shower, Piper thought to herself as she headed towards Phoebe’s room. She peaked in Phoebe’s door and saw Phoebe sprawled out on her bed, apparently still sound asleep and oblivious to the ringing of the alarm. Piper rolled her eyes and made her way over to the alarm clock.

"God, Phoebe, how in the world can you possibly sleep with that thing buzzing like that!" Piper yelled over the alarm. She turned the alarm off and looked back at Phoebe, who still hadn’t moved a muscle. Piper frowned a little, wondering if maybe Phoebe was sick.

She sat down on the bed beside her sister and gently shook her. "Come on lazybones, it’s time to get up." Phoebe remained motionless. Piper looked at Phoebe and started to get worried. She shook her harder this time. "Phoebe, this is not funny, wake up!" Still no response. Piper gasped, she knew something was wrong now. She grabbed both of Phoebe’s shoulders and shook her as hard as she could. Phoebe didn’t wake up and slumped back down on the bed when Piper let go of her shoulders. Oh God, Oh God, Piper thought. She took Phoebe’s pulse and found a strong one. Piper breathed a little sigh of relief. She got up and ran down to the kitchen to get Prue.

"Prue!! Prue!!" Piper yelled as she burst into the kitchen.

Prue took one look at Piper’s face and knew something was terribly wrong. "Piper, what’s wrong? Where’s Phoebe?"

"She’s upstairs in bed," Piper said, "Prue, I can’t wake her up. I practically shook her to death... bad analogy... anyway, she won’t wake up. I took her pulse, and she’s fine as far as that goes. I don’t know what’s wrong with her."

The two sisters headed upstairs to Phoebe’s room. Phoebe was still asleep on the bed. Prue walked over and checked Phoebe’s pulse and felt her forehead for any fever. She stood up and put and put her hands on her hips. "She doesn’t have a fever and her pulse is fine. I don’t get it."

Piper had calmed down a little now that Prue was there. "Well, I don’t get it either, but I’m calling an ambulance."

Just as Piper was about to dial 911, Prue held up her hand. "Wait Piper, look at this."

Piper knelt down beside Prue and saw a faint line of black dust around Phoebe’s bed. Piper stuck her finger in the powder. "This is the powder Phoebe was talking about yesterday!"

Prue had a slightly guilty look on her face. "I should’ve known Phoebe wasn’t dreaming all that stuff yesterday. I should’ve checked out her story better."

Piper put her arm around Prue. "I thought she was dreaming too, Prue. It’s not your fault. Let’s just figure out what to do about this and then we can do the blame game thing. OK?"

Prue looked up and nodded. "You’re right. What’s important now is helping Phoebe. Stay here with her. I’m going to go get the Book of Shadows."

"But we already looked through the Book. There wasn’t anything in there that sounded like this guy." Piper said.

Prue gave Piper a defiant look as she walked out the bedroom door. "I don’t care. There has to be an something in the Book we can use to help her. I’ll be right back."

Piper sat back down on Phoebe’s bed. She gently stroked her baby sister’s hair. "Don’t worry Phoebe, we’ll get out of this one like we do everything else." Piper wiped away the single tear that had escaped her eye.

* * *

Phoebe was in a dark room. She had no idea where she was or how she got here. The last thing she remembered was the Sleep Stalker sprinkling that black dust on her. "OK Phoebe," she said aloud, "you can figure a way out of this. You’re a smart girl. Let’s see. A scary demon guy threw powder on me. He put me to sleep." Phoebe paused. "So is this a dream? I don’t feel asleep. So where am I am? Oh man, I wish Prue and Piper were here."

"All in sweet time my dear," a voice said form the far corner of the room. The Sleep Stalker stepped out from the shadows and the whole room lit up.

Phoebe held her hand in front of her eyes, trying to adjust to the sudden brightness. "What did you do to me you bastard?," she yelled at the Stalker.

The Stalker held out his hands and pointed around the room. "Do you like what I’ve done with the place? It’s a little drab but I think it has that homey feeling, don’t you agree?"

Phoebe could see clearly now and she took in her surroundings. The room was completely barren. No where to hide and definitely nothing to use as a weapon. She looked back at the Stalker. "What are you going to do with me?"

The Stalker smiled. "Like I said, you are going to be my bait, you weak little witch. You’re my ticket to killing the Charmed Ones and stealing your powers."

Phoebe shook her head vigorously. "I’ve got news for you pal. We’ve dealt with a hell of a lot stronger demons than you. And if you think my sisters and I are gonna let you take our powers without a fight, well then, you’re dumber than you look."

"You amuse me, witch," the Sleep Stalker said with a laugh. "But I’m afraid there’s nothing you can do to stop me. Right now, your sisters are looking in the Book of Shadows for a spell to wake you up. They won’t find one. But, lucky them, they will find a spell that will bring them into your dream. Once they’re here, the three of you are mine. I’ll keep your powers, but unfortunately, you won’t be worth much then, will you?" With these words, the Sleep Stalker disappeared from the room.

Phoebe gave a frustrated grunt and looked around the room in despair. There was nothing she could do right now. She sat down on the cold floor and put her head in her hands. It was going to be a long day.

* * *

Prue closed the Book of Shadows and looked up at Piper. "I didn’t find anything about the demon that Phoebe described. I didn’t find anything at all," she said in an exasperated voice.

Piper was sitting on Phoebe’s bed, holding her younger sister’s hand. "Well, I guess we’re just gonna have to stay here with Phoebe and let her know we’re here with her. Let her know that she can fight her way out of this."

Prue sat down on the other side of Phoebe. "I remember how you and Phoebe helped me defeat the Dream Sorcerer when I was in that coma. Maybe we can do the same for Phoebe.

Suddenly, the Book of Shadows opened and the pages started flipping. Prue and Piper waited for the pages to stop turning and picked the Book up. Prue read over the spell as Piper waited to hear what the Book said. "Is it a spell to vanquish this demon?," Piper asked in a hopeful voice.

Prue set the Book on Phoebe’s bed and looked at Piper. "Not exactly," Prue said, "it’s a spell to take us into Phoebe’s dream. I don’t think the spell has anything to do with the demon itself."

Piper looked at the Book of Shadows and read the spell for herself. "This is good, though. We can worry about the demon once we find Phoebe. At least if we’re all together, we’ll have the Power of Three. And Phoebe won’t be all alone with the demon."

Prue nodded in agreement. "You’re right," she said as she looked over the spell one more time. "Let’s just get to Phoebe and worry about the rest when we find her."

"OK, what do we do?," asked Piper.

Prue read from the Book of Shadows. "We both have to hold Phoebe’s hands and recite this spell. It says we will fall asleep and immediately enter into Phoebe’s dream."

"But how do we wake up?," Piper asked.

Prue replied, "It looks we have two hours, no more no less. It doesn’t say anything about Phoebe waking up though. We’ll deal with that when we get there."

Piper quickly looked over the spell and memorized it. "Ready?," she asked Prue. Prue nodded and laid down beside Phoebe. Piper went to Phoebe’s other side and laid down as well. Each took one of Phoebe’s hands. They settled into a comfortable position and began to chant:

Though we aren’t tired, we need to sleep
Into this witch’s dream we will creep
Give us the strength to find our loved one
She needs our help to again see the sun

Piper and Prue both closed their eyes and felt a tingling sensation throughout their bodies. Slowly, their grips on Phoebe’s hands softened. In a few seconds, they were both in a deep sleep.

* * *

Phoebe was sitting in the dark room with her legs crossed. She felt like it had been an eternity since she first woke up in this hole. She tried figuring out some brilliant to get herself out of this mess, but couldn’t, so she gave up even thinking about her current situation hours ago.

Suddenly, Phoebe thought she heard Prue’s voice calling her name. "Phoebe? Phoebe, where are you?," she could hear Prue saying.

Phoebe sat up straight and tried to decide if she was hearing things or not. "Prue, is that you?," she said to the empty room.

Phoebe looked behind her and saw Prue and Piper. She ran to her sisters and gave them a huge hug. "Oh God, I am so excited to see you guys!" an excited Phoebe said.

Piper smiled. "We’re glad to see you too, Phoebe."

Prue broke away from the Kodak moment. "We can work on the mushy stuff later guys. We only have two hours to turn this demon to dust. And truthfully, I have no idea to do that. Phoebe, tell us everything you know about this guy."

"OK. He calls himself the Sleep Stalker. He seems to know everything about us and all the demons we’ve defeated." Phoebe’s eyes got wide as she remembered the Stalker’s words. "Oh my God, you guys shouldn’t be here. It’s a trap. He said he was going to use me as bait to get you guys here."

"And what a great job as bait you did, Phoebe dear," the Stalker’s voice said.

The girls whirled around and saw the Sleep Stalker standing behind them. Prue immediately used her power and hurled the demon across the room. The Stalker merely hit the wall with a thud and brushed himself off. "Didn’t your mother ever teach you violence is never the answer?," he said in an amused voice.

Piper threw up her hands to freeze him, but nothing happened. She looked at her hands with surprise and stepped closer to her sisters.

The Stalker roared with laughter at the girls’ frustration. "This is going to be most amusing," he said as he clapped his hands together. "Prue is the only one who even has a power to use against me, but it’s not enough to stop me. Not in my realm anyway."

Prue was getting very angry and threw the Stalker into the wall over and over again for over a minute. Prue was breathing heavily, but the Stalker didn’t seem to feel any of the blows.

"What are you going to do? Toss me around for a couple hours? A little advice, Charmed Ones - don’t fight me, you’ll only lose. All I have to do is keep you here until the dream spell wears off. You see, there’s a little catch to that particular spell. The only way you can wake up after two hours is to take Phoebe with you. It’s sort of an "all-or-nothing" clause. And you don’t have the slightest clue how to do that do you?" The Sleep Stalker was bursting with excitement about his fool-proof plan.

Piper looked at Prue and gasped. "He put that spell in the Book of Shadows. He tricked us."

Prue nodded grimly in agreement. She looked back at the Stalker and tried to sound as intimidating as possible. "I wouldn’t be so sure of myself creep. We will find a way to get Phoebe back. And we sure as hell will find a way to destroy you!"

The Stalker got angry at this defiant statement. He started across the room towards the girls, but stopped himself. "No, this is not my plan. You will not anger me enough to ruin my plan."

Phoebe had a quick idea and decided to push him even farther. "Ooohhh... aren’t you a scary fella. If you had the strength to kill us now, you wouldn’t have went to all this trouble. You’re just a warlock-wanna-be who can only attack through sleep!!"

The Sleep Stalker’s eyes glowed red with fury and he raised his hand. A fireball formed in his extended arm, and he prepared to hurl it towards the sisters.

Piper turned to Phoebe. "Do you think pissing off the demon was a good idea? I just thought that maybe making a supernatural monster mad was a bad idea."

The Stalker hurled the fireball and all three sisters jumped out of the way, narrowly escaping certain death. Phoebe stood up and whispered back at her sisters. "I know what we have to do. Follow my lead."

Prue and Piper looked skeptical at each other and shrugged. They had nothing to lose, they were willing to try anything.

Phoebe walked towards the Stalker. "I’m not afraid of you. You can’t hurt me."

The Stalker paused a minute and laughed. "What in the world are you going to do to me? You are the weakest Charmed One, remember? What are you going to do? Premonition me to death?"

"Not exactly," Phoebe said. "I am not weak, and you will not make me believe that I am. This is nothing more than a bad dream, and I’m sick of playing this game. This is my dream! I’ll make it into whatever I want!" Phoebe closed her eyes and the room began to shake.

The Sleep Stalker’s smirk quickly disappeared from his face. He looked around at the shaking room and screamed in rage. "What are you doing!?!? This is my realm. You can’t just come in here and destroy it!"

Prue and Phoebe stood beside Phoebe and took her hands. The walls started to crumble around the Sleep Stalker. "NO!! NO!! I will not let this happen!" The Sleep Stalker stood and got ready to disappear from the room.

Phoebe saw the Stalker trying to escape. "Guys, we have to pull him out of this dream world into our own realm. We can’t kill him in here. And if he escapes, he’ll just try to pull a stunt like this again."

Piper nodded at Phoebe and ran towards the Sleep Stalker. She grabbed the still shocked demon are pushed him towards her two sisters. The Stalker was too dumbfounded to react and before he knew it, he was encircled by the Charmed Ones.

All four disappeared just as the room completely collapsed.

* * *

The Halliwells opened their eyes and found they were back in Phoebe’s bedroom. They were lying on Phoebe’s bed, hand in hand. Prue quickly jumped up and looked at Phoebe. "Pheebs, are you OK?"

Phoebe stood up and looked around the room. "I’m fine. But where’s our demon friend. Maybe we didn’t do it right."

The girls then heard a scream coming form above them. Suddenly, the Sleep Stalker fell out of the ceiling and landed with a thud on Phoebe’s floor. He looked around bewildered and jumped when he saw the Charmed Ones standing over him. "What have you witches done to me? You will pay for this." He pulled back his arm as if to try to hurl another fireball.

Piper reacted and threw up her hands to freeze him. The Stalker froze in mid-throw.

Piper breathed a sigh of relief. "Thank God I can freeze him again. But we don’t know how to vanquish him, it wasn’t in the Book of Shadows."

As if on cue, the Book of Shadows, which was still in Phoebe’s room, opened up and started flipping pages. The pages stopped turning and the girls looked down at the Book.

Prue frowned. "It turned to an empty page. What’s up with that?"

Phoebe smiled as she saw a pen from her desk float over to the Book. "Be patient Prue, look," she said pointing to the floating ink pen.

The pen made its way over to the Book and began writing on the blank page.

You did good girls, you figured out how to defeat the Sleep Stalker without help from the Book of Shadows. I’m proud of you. You will need a little help with vanquishing him though. Here is the spell:

The Power of Three has won once again
Send this demon to hell to pay for his sin
Dreams are just thoughts we don’t think during the day
They will never hurt us in any way

I love you girls, take care

Grams

The girls all smiled lovingly at the page. Piper reached down and touched the words. "I miss Grams so much sometimes, but she never really left us did she?"

"No she didn’t," Prue said. "OK, let’s turn this demon into ashes."

The Charmed Ones said the spell and watched as the Sleep Stalker screamed in rage. "NO!!! NO!!!! You’ll get yours someday witches!!!" With those final words, the Sleep Stalker vanished.

Phoebe brushed the hair out of her eyes and sat down on her bed. "Thank God that is finally over."

Prue and Piper sat down next to their little sister. "It’s good to have you back Phoebe," Piper said as she put her arm around Phoebe.

Prue smiled and looked at her two younger sisters. "Well guys, I’m beat, I think I’ll take a little nap."

"NO!" Piper and Phoebe cried in unison.

Prue rolled her eyes and laughed out loud. "I was kidding you guys. It was a joke. Ha Ha."

Phoebe squinted her eyes at her older sister. She grabbed a pillow off of her bed and hurled it at Prue. Prue held up her finger and the pillow stopped and headed right back and hit Phoebe in the face. Piper laughed at her sisters and jumped into what was becoming an all-out pillow fight. Halliwell Manor was back to normal.
