The Quartermaines

Edward Quartermaine: Edward is a cunning businessman, but will do           anything to make his wife Lila happy.  Edward has an illegitimate son, Jimmy Lee Holt, by his former flame Beatrice Leseur.  Alan and Tracy are his children.

Lila Quartermaine: Married Edward only to discover that she was never legally divorced from her first husband, Crane Tolliver.  They remarried, legally this time in 1983.  She has her own business, Pickle-lila, a relish recipe.  Lila is the heart and the soul of the Qs.

Alan Quartermaine:  Married Monica in 1978 even though he was afraid she was still in love with Dr. Rick Webber.  Alan developed amnesia in 1986 and went by the name of Simon.  Alan and Monica divorced and remarried in 1991.  Through thick and thin they are still together today.  Had a son, Jason, with Susan Moore.

Monica Quartermaine: Maiden name: Bard.  Married Alan in 1978.  A year later, she gave birth to Alan Jr.  Monica has a daughter Dawn Winthrop.  She developed Breast cancer in 1994 and took in Emily Bowen in 1995, a the daughter of her friend Paige Bowen.
