Eric Winter first appeared on Days of our Lives in July of 2002 as one of two genetically engineered twins. He was given the name Rex, and through hypnosis, remembered how to speak and communicate. In the last year, Rex and his twin sister, Cassie, have started attending college at Salem University. Rex has a genius level IQ, and completed all his classes in a matter of weeks. Right now he is trying to unlock his genetic DNA, and also find time to build a relationship with the lovely Mimi Lockhart.

Recently Rex discovered that he is the son of Dr. Marlena Evans and Count Anthony DiMera. This should be an interesting summer, as Rex comes to terms with being the son of both Salem's most loved doctor, and most despised man.
