This is the mockup
of the 50HX81 I built. It is of the exact same dimensions as the TV. It
has multiple purposes: First, it insures that the TV actually fits in
my narrow staircase leading downstairs. Second, I used it to calculate
line of sight from the second row of seat in my HT room (see last pic
below).

The top of the box just lifts right off. The only sturdy
part in the whole box is the bottom section. Notice the gap, yep, it's
forklift friendly! Just undo the side of the box and let the TV roll out!

And this is the view from the TV's perspective!
I used the mockup to calculate the height of the seatbacks for the front
row, they had to be lowered to allow perfect line of sight for the folks
in the back! |
