THE BEGINNING/VICTORIA ARRIVES AT COLLINWOOD

(5) When Sam Evans first appears, he looks like someone else other than Maggie’s father. (Mark Allen had started the role; David Ford came around about five appearances later.)

(6) When Victoria first meets Matthew Morgan, he bears no resemblance to the Ben Stokes Vicki confuses him with in 1795! (George Mitchell first played Morgan; Thayer David came around a few episodes later).

(29) In the scene with Maggie and David in the diner, Roger can be seen through the front door fidgeting and jumping around as if he he has to use the restroom. (Louis Edmonds was waiting for his cue.)

(50?) Sam Evans tells Victoria the first version of the story of Josette Collins, which of course bears no resemblance to the events Victoria later experiences in 1795. (Possibly the fault of the stories being told and retold over several years through several people after Joshua Collins’ fabricated version of the events. Perhaps this is the way Sam understood it.)
