INCOMPLETE SCENARIOS AND UNFINISHED PLOT LINES
(Victoria Arrives
at Collinwood) Victoria’s research into her past at Collinwood was leading up
to her discovering that Liz was her mother, but Willie Loomis opening a certain
coffin opened the door to a character that the series would soon revolve around
and poor Vicki never discovered the truth.
(Murder of Bill
Malloy) He caught his real killer, and now we got Bill Malloy haunting
Collinwood and leaving seaweed all over the place. (As he hits on the ghosts of
Josette and Beth Chavez and gets in fist fights with the ghosts of Jeremiah and
Reverend Trask….)
(Blackmailing of
Elizabeth) Without Carolyn pulling him along, Buzz Hackett possibly got
arrested and sent to jail. (He’ll be on “America’s Most Wanted” next
week!)
(Introduction of
Barnabas) Sarah’s ghost said she’d never appear to Barnabas, but why did David
have to suffer….
(The Dream Curse)
When Harry Johnson was last seen, he was sent to fix up the cottage for his
mother, Mrs. Johnson. He’s probably still doing it.
(Creation of Adam
and Eve) Lang’s Equipment was last used in the basement of the old house. It’s
possibly that Barnabas had Willie leave it storage down there. (Or maybe Willie
chucked it all off Widow’s Hill into the sea.)
(Return to 1795)
When we last saw Victoria Winters, she was rescued from the gallows and ran off
to marry Peter – never to return to the present (that was then 1968). We never
leaned what happened to her afterward, but Peter’s ghost did confront Jeb
Hawkes for the murder of his wife. (Maybe when Barnabas was in 1897, he should
have looked for Vicki’s grandchildren!)
(The Werewolf and
Quentin’s Ghost) Amy Jennings is at Collinwood one minute, and gone the next.
(Maybe she never did get out of Wonka’s Chocolate Factory?!)
(1840 Storyline)
Carrie Stokes started seeing Jeremy Grimes, possibly to make Tad Collins
jealous. Hopefully, she found the error of her ways and returned to Tad, or
made Jeremy a very happily married man (and left Tad an even more happy and
hysterical unmarried bachelor!)
(Ghosts of Gerard
and Daphne) Since Barnabas, Julia and Stokes changed the past, there never was
a ghost of Gerard or Daphne at Collinwood, and Maggie never left Collinwood to
be hospitalized. She and Quentin possibly carried on their relationship and
married (just like their PT Timeline counterparts).
(1840 Storyline)
When last seen, Angelique had been shot by Lamar Trask and died in Barnabas’s
arms as he confessed her love for her. (Fifty-seven years later, we do know
Quentin and Evan restored her to life to act as an antagonist against Barnabas,
but she instead became his ally against Petofi and was discovered years later
in 1970 married to Sky Rumson. Since she DID survive 1840, she should be
waiting for Barnabas as he returns from 1840, but we may never know).
