(General) In 1966, Roger mentions and points out the portrait of Great Uncle Benjamin Collins, but good old Great Uncle Benjamin Collins doesn’t appear or even gets a mention in all of the 1897 events. (He was likely busy away off at school like Geoffrey, Caleb and Charles during the 1840 storyline!)
(700 – 884) During the storyline, Magda persistently crosses her herself. This is a Catholic gesture; not a gypsy one, but we can’t blame Grayson Hall on her liberty to over act!
(700) In 1968, when Quentin was a ghost, David and Amy gained access to Quentin’s room by going through the back wall of a room, but in the past, Quentin’s room is right off the West Wing corridor!
(700-705?) Edith recalls a quote Gabriel said about Quentin, but Gabriel supposedly died at the end of the 1840 storyline long before his grandson Quentin was born. (Perhaps Gabriel survived the fall and returned to Collinwood behind the scenes).
(703) When Barnabas inspects the Collinwood of 1897, he says, “He is very impressed with Hollywood – Collinwood.” (Lara Parker makes an identical snafu during the 1840PT storyline.)
(703? 704?) Johnathan Frid walks through the credits carrying his costume.
(703) Quentin in his worried state about Barnabas stutters a bit before Evan. He says, “Barnabas Cousin…. Collins….”
(706) As Edward introduces Barnabas to Dirk Wilkins, he calls him “Dirk Wilson” before catching and correcting himself. (Presumably, Edward isn’t very good with names.)
(721) When Quentin is stabbed by Jenny, Angelique (Lara Parker) can be seen looking into the teleprompter to remind her of her lines.
(740) While searching the records at Eagle Hill for records of Laura Murdoch, Barnabas calls Jeremiah his cousin then catches himself and calls him his uncle. (In the 1990 ret-con, Jeremiah becomes Barnabas’ younger brother, so perhaps all the time traveling is catching up to him.)
(745) When Magda discovers her sister Jenny in Josette’s room at the Old House, Jenny (Marie Wallace) gets her dress caught on the bed while moving round it.
(745? 746?) Jenny pushes Magda aside and escapes; Grayson Hall instinctively holds on to her wig as she “collapses.”
(750) Magda’s werewolf curse not only affects Quentin, but all of his male heirs. Magda doesn’t know Jenny had children and realizes that they are now infected. This family line goes to Chris Jennings, but Tom was never known as a werewolf. In fact, he’s so happy go lucky when we meet him, that it’s unlikely that he had a curse. Reasoning that he found a cure sometime prior to his appearance, it’s also likely that the curse only affected FIRSTBORN sons. This way, if Chris was born ten to fifteen seconds before Tom, then Tom would have been safe (but his first born son might not have been.)
(760) As Laura the Phoenix burns up, the fire graphic pops up and we can see under it!
(779) When Carl escapes the mausoleum, he jars one of the “tombstones.”
(788) When Magda confronts Evan about him stealing the Hand of Count Petofi, he doesn’t know what she’s talking about. It’s because she gets flummoxed and asks for “the book,” but she corrects herself and mentions the hand. (Maybe she’s trying to get him to confess first and then reveals herself.)
(788) When Evan comes upon Judith left deranged by the spirit of Minerva, a camera comes into view behind him.
(797) Barnabas sends Magda to retrieve the Collins Family Yearbook, which Victoria carried to 1795 from the courthouse, but Eve had already returned it to 1967 from the past. It must have traveled back with her when she departed with Peter for the last time.
(797) Barnabas’s interpretation of time travel is a bit off; He rationalizes that since he traveled back in time before Eve even removed the book from courthouse in 1795 that the Collins Family Book should still be in the old courthouse; but, by his reasoning, the book shouldn’t have been there in the first place since he himself traveled back to BEFORE Victoria even traveled back in time with the book to begin with.
(826) When King Jonny is about to lead Magda into the tomb, noises on the set cause actor Paul Michael to repeat his line.
(875) When Beth Chavez falls from Widow’s Hill, she bounces off a mattress and back into view. (Based on the memories of actress Terry Crawford; she can’t be seen bouncing back in to shot because of the extreme close-up on Quentin.)
(885) Barnabas doesn’t return to his tomb for Willie to release him in 1967; he instead travels back to 1795 and meets the Leviathans. (Possibly, two bodies can’t exist at the same time; his 1968 body in the I-Ching state went to 1897 to house his 1897 sprit for Willie to find and Barnabas reappeared in 1968 only after being entombed by the Leviathans.)
