(1110 – 1198) Gabriel Collins is supposed to be paraplegic and confined to a wheelchair. Granted, his so-called injury is a fraud, but there’s no sign of ramps or elevators in the main house and no one questions him being on the second floor. He seems hardly the type to let a servant carry him up and yet, he can’t possibly risk being seen carrying his chair up and down the stairs.
(1110) There is no sign or mention of the Josette Collins (1819 – 1830) that Victoria Winters knew about during this timeline. (She was already dead or that version of the Collins Family Yearbook was filled with numerous errors!)
(1110?) The “Collins Family Secret” about Barnabas seems to have skipped Daniel. Joshua never passed it on to him to tell Edith to tell Edward in 1897, but then maybe she figured it out after the fact.
(1114) When Gerard confronts Julia with the earring, he confused the incident as “last night” and “night before last.”
(1133) Returning to Collinwood, Angelique says, “It’s so good to be back in Hollywood.” Her mind is obviously elsewhere, but she means Collinwood.
(1137) Julia sends Charity out to get her adrenaline to revive Judah and gets it, but technically, it would not be available for another fifty years. (The person who discovered it has not even been born yet!)
(1137) Julia also has a very modern metal stethoscope instead of the wooden one native to the time period.
(1187) Edith dies, but she is supposed to be alive in 1897. (Perhaps she turned up barely alive after Barnabas and company returned to the future and survived after all).
(1188) Daphne’s gag falls off after Gabriel ties her up.
(1192?) Joanna says she doesn’t believe in ghosts; she obviously lying or exaggerating considering that’s what she is.
(1194?) When Daphne escapes Gerard through the secret passage, she pulls a release lever down to open it, but it doesn’t go back up when the passage closes. Gerard even pushes it “up” to open it!
(1194?) There’s a picture hanging on the wall of Daphne’s secret passage; why would someone hang a picture where no one would see it?!
(1198) After killing Angelique, Lamar Trask escapes Barnabas through a short hallway into the Parallel Time room. At the start of the PT storyline, the room was always at the end of a long hall. (He possibly came up a stairway at the end of the second floor hall or Judith had the entire wing renovated when she sealed up Lamar’s son in 1897!)
(1198) Look at this odd set-up: Barnabas and Julia depart main 1970 for another timeline, travel to the future (1995) and then travel to the past of this timeline (Timeline #2). They then travel even further into the past of this timeline to confront Gerard and are then joined by Eliot from the future of this second timeline. They then return to their own time (1970). By rights, there should be ANOTHER Eliot Stokes with no knowledge of the Timeline #2 events (along with a Maggie who never left the series) still waiting for them to emerge from Parallel Time.
(1198) Barnabas sends himself to the past using the I-Ching and then returns to 1840 using the Stairway through Time. This means his body is still in an I-Ching trance at the Old House and no body has been left in the mausoleum for him to have in 1897 or for Willie to release in 1967! (Possibly his body can’t exist at the same time in any point in the time stream and when he returns to 1970, his body in that time transfers to the past to house his 1840 spirit – which then forgets having met Julia in 1840!)
(1198) Considering Barnabas, Julia and Stokes altered 1840, these changes to the timeline must have had massive impacts ion the events of 1897. However, since the events of 1840 were likely another timeline at best (see comments above), perhaps they altered a 1840 PT to match the mainstream 1840 and their changes were supposed to occur in their true past).
