In the first book, "Wally Koala and Friends" Wally and his friends including Timmy Kookaburra come over to America from Australia. In the second book,"Wally Koala and the Little Green Peach" Wally meets a little green peach who is very sad about his friends being picked off the pear tree while he is still green!Wally tells him a story and the peach realizes that he really is special!It's very well written and very cute!Each book has an audio cassette with it.Charlotte Rae does all the voices and narration on the tapes.She does a FABULOUS job as usual!
I sent my check last week for my books and I got them yesterday!(November 2, 2001)I've listened to them like 10 times since then and I took them with me babysitting and the kids absolutely loved them!Especailly Timmy Kookaburra!
Also, the picture above is the picture on the back of the books.And....I wanted to say on this page, thank you to Mimi Guten and Toni Mazolla for these books, because they are awesome!The music for the songs is in the back of each book and I'm now learning how to play it on the piano!Also, my nieghbor, who is 6 and who doesnt' normally like to read, loved these books.MY cousin, who is 4 listened to ME read the books today and she was actually sitting still and listening to me......that's strange for a 4 year old, especially this one!These really are amazing books, so Thanks!
