Act 1                                               

On the hospital balcony, Sami is crying

Samantha:  Why does this always happen to me? (Brandon opens the door and enters)  Why do I always lost the people I love?  Will...  Brandon..

Brandon:  You tell me.

Samantha:  Brandon you have to leave me alone

Brandon:  You don't want that

Samantha:  We can't be seen together

Brandon:  Says who?     Tell me

Samantha:  I can't.  You'd hate me forever

Brandon:  I can never hate you Samantha:  I love you.

Samantha:  I love you too Brandon.

Brandon:  Then tell me what's got you so scared.  The truth Samantha.  It's the only chance we got

Samantha:  All right.  You want the truth,  I'll tell you.  All of it.

Brandon:  I'm listening

Samantha:  The truth is everything I've told you is a lie.

Act 2

Brandon:  What exactly did you lie about?

Samantha:  Well i should start with the Salem Inn.  The reason I was there when your sister got shot.  The reason I was following her was because I was afraid of her.

Brandon:  Why?

Samantha:  Because she's out to destroy me.

Act 3

Brandon:  I knew you were paranoid Sami

Samantha:  Just hear me out

Brandon:but all this talk about people out to get you

Samantha: not people your sister

Brandon: Just because she doesn't like you

Samantha:  No, it's more than that, she's using everything she can to keep us apart.

Brandon:  That's crazy

Samantha:  How many times has she told you to stay away from me that I'm the last person you should be involved with.

Brandon:  Nicole is protective of me

Samantha:  Keeping you away from the woman of your dreams how is that protective.

Brandon:  Did you really say that?  (kinda has a grin on his face)

Samantha:  I'm sorry, I know it sounds egotistical, but I know I'm the right woman for you Brandon.  More than any other one could be.  We have something special between us.  You know it as well as I do.

Brandon:  Then, If what we have is so special why have you been acting the way you have been lately. I mean one minute your interested and the next, you completely blow me off.  Why Samantha?  What kind of game are you playing?

Samantha:  That's the other like I told you.  The biggest lie of all

Brandon:  What is?

Samantha:  Whe i said I didn't want to be with you.  Brandon, in fact,  I love you more than ever.

Act 4

Brandon:  Why should I believe you Samantha.  You swore to me that night on the roof that you loved me, and the next day it was like it never happened.

Samantha:  Brandon,  I am sorry.  You have no idea what it did to me having to tell you we were finished.

Brandon:  It wasn't a whole lotta fun for either.  It'll bee even less fun when you come to me tomorrow and tell me to ignore everything you said yesterday.  I'm not doing this Samantha.  I'm not gonna keep playing these games with you.  It's taking me a while, but i see the pattern now.  I'm outta here.

Samantha:  No Brandon,  I won't let you leave.

Brandon:  You swore you were gonna tell me the truth and so far you haven't told me anything.

Samantha:  I was going to but...

Brandon:  But what?  You think I can't handle it.  Don't you get it, it's this I can't handle.  The not knowing from one day to the next what you want, what your feeling, thinking.

Samantha:  I'm sorry Brandon,  I've been so unfair to you.

Brandon:  Then change that.  Spit it out.  Last chance.  What the hell is goin on with you?

Act 5

Samantha:  I have gotten myself in some pretty big trouble and I am just trying to get out of it.

Brandon:  What kind of trouble.      .....      Damn it Samantha..

Samantha:  I'm trying.  Ok.  I'm trying to be honest with you.  But if I tell you, you have to trust me ok..  You have to understand thisis the way it has to be.

Brandon:  I wanna help you.  I want you to tell me what this trouble is and what I can do to get you out of it.

Samantha:  No,  Non Brandon you don't want to get involved, it'll just make things worse
 

FLASHBACK

      Nicole is telling how Victor leveled Sami with the tape.  Brandon shrugs it off and claims he doesn't care.  

END OF FLAHSBACK
 

Brandon:  It's Victor Kiriakis isn't it.  Oh I remember it all now..  Nicole told me all about it.

Act 6

Samantha:  What exactly did Nicole tell you?

Brandon:  She mentioned some tape that Victor got a hold of.  Used it to keep you from doing something to lucas and kate.  She didn't get specific.  Mostly cuz at the time I didn't want to thear it.  But you've got me curious now.  What exactly is on that tape and why does it have ou so terrified?

Samantha:  It has to do with me and Austin.  It's not important.  It's just personal and Victor had no right to keep it, but of course he still has it.  And I have to make the situation right, in fact I'm the only one who can.  But until I do, until I take of everything, I can't have anything to do with you.  I can't even be seen with you.

Brandon:  I wanna help you.

Samantha:  The only way of helping is by doing of what I asked.  Just stay away from me until I fix this royal mess I have gotten myself into.

Brandon:  It's never straight job with you isn't?

Samantha:  It will be, as soon as I take care of this problem.  We can be together, that is if you still want me.  Do you still want me Brandon.  Do you think we still have a future.

Act 7

Brandon:  If you are still the girl that I first fell in love with.  The one that grabbed onto life with both hands the same way I did.  Wasn't afraid to go after what she wanted, no old bar, then yes I believe we have a future together.

Samantha:  Brandon....

Brandon:  But since lately all you've been doing since Austin left..  you have been playing games.

Samantha:  It's the only thing i could think of to get your attention.  Ok I know how pathetic that sounds, but I promise Brandon, that I will not lie to you, and i will not play games with you anymore.  All this time I just realized how much I love you , and that my life is so lonely and boring without you.  Brandon the times we've spent together, are some of the best times of my life, and if i just stopped and though about it,  I would have realized how much I loved you then.  But I was caught up in my obsession with Austin.  That's exactly what it was.  I was competing with my sister Carrie.  I know how sick and twisted that sounds, but I've spent a lot of time analyzing it, and I think that is what it was really all about.  YOu tried to tell me Austin was all wrong for me and as much as I hate to admit it, you were right.  I can see that now.  Brandon all I want is a chance to prove to you that i have changed.  That i am the woman you fell in love with.  Brandon I really want us to be together,  I just have to take care of this mess i have made first, and I have to do it alone.  But i will,  I swear I will.  Then after I do we can be together.  If you will just trust me and wait for me.  Will you?

Act 8

Samantha:  So will you do it Brandon,  Will you give me some time. Please, will you wait for me.

After thinking for a few moments

Brandon:  I'll wait.

Samantha:  I promise you won't regret it

Brandon:  I already do.

Samantha:  Kiss me before some one come out here.
      
THEY KISS  afterwards Brandon exits with a smile on his face

Samantha:  Thank God.  Now I just have to find away to neutralize Nicole before she come out of the coma and blows the whistle on me.  Well no, i just can't let that happen.

INSIDE THE HOSPITAL

(he thinks this)
Brandon:  I can't let Samantha fight this on her own.  I have to help her.  As soon as Nikki wakes up I'll get her to tell me what Victor has on Samantha.
