Julielinh Parker was born in the United States, Kansas, to be exact. Her father was in the military, so that usually meant moving every three to four years. "I attended high school in Quito, Ecuador and moved back to the States to attend college." Julielinh tells us. In fact, one of her favorite hobbies is to travel. "Every year I try to take at least a month or two off to travel. My favorite places to go are Bangkok, Rome, Quito and the Galapagos. I highly recommend these places to visit at least once in your life time." she says. Julielinh's other hobbies include painting and cooking. Julielinh's first television job was shooting commercials for the Home Shopping Network. "I used to shoot a great deal of their fashion commercials for their designers." She then went on modeling for other various companies like Tamron, Banzai surf wear, Trendz Calendars, Clique Magazine, Media works and Bealls. Julielinh's aspirations is to be an actress or cosmetics model. As for her role on Beat the Clock, Julielinh doesn't consider herself to be a co-host. "At the last minute the producers decided to get a co-host. My agent urged me to try out, so I did. It was a good three months before I heard anything, so I had assumed that I wasn't chosen, so I moved to Atlanta to start fresh. The day after I had moved in, I received a call from my agent telling me to come back. I almost didn't go." Over the phone, she tells us that in the beginning, the producers told her to "sit there and look pretty." Then they decided to give her some speaking roles. "I want to clear up one thing..." she says, "After the money is counted and I tell Gary that line, I do not write those...the creative producer writes those." Julielinh is currently on a new NBC series that will air this Summer. You'll have to tune in to see what she's up to!
