Dragonfire (also released in Canada by Zellers as Dragon Treasure) was a fairly unique game.  A fire breathing dragon has taken over the castle and stolen all of the treasure.  Without the treasure, the king can't hire an army to take out the dragon.  You are the brave prince who will try to reclaim the treasure for the king.

Their are two boards in Dragonfire.  On the first board, you must run over the bridge to the castle from the right side of the screen to the left side of the screen while jumping over and ducking under fireballs shot by the dragon.  On the second screen, you must run around the room picking up all of the treasure while avoiding the fireballs shot up at you by the dragon who is now at the bottom of the screen.  When you pass the second screen, you go back to the first.  Each time you pass both screens, the action moves more quickly.

The game is pretty different and gets challenging quickly.  Dragonfire is common and easy to find at a good price.  Dragon Treasure is relatively rare and will cost quite a bit more.  Unless you are just buying it for your collection, you may as well just pick up Dragonfire.
