I know she's still alive. you can't give up on her." she cried "Jean I'm not giving up on her it's just that there's a lot of blood and Wolverine said she didn't walk out of here on her own." he said "It's doesn't mean she's gone. It just mean she's unconsious that's all." she said "Can you connect with her mind?" he asked " No, but that doesn't mean anything." she said "Jean you have to face the facts. She may be gone or if she isn't she won't be the Jessica we know and love." he said "But she will be again. I can help her." she said "Let's go tell the professor what we've found out and let him take it from there." Logan said "I agree lets go." We had no way of knowing that she was still alive." he said "I did. I had a way fo knowing, but i choose not to use it for the good of the team." she said sadly "That wasn't your fault. Our powers were weakend by Sinster." he said "Scott who are you trying to convince me or yourself?" she asked softly. "Bot of us I guess. I feel just as bad as you do about this, but we can't let it get in our way. We will do everything we can to find her, but right now we have other thigns to worry about." he said "Like what?" Morph asked a little shocked that Scott would just give up on Jessica liek this. "Like Sinster being in the city. He could do a lot of damage here. If he still has Jessica and she's alive we'll find her I promise you Jean." he said as they left the building. Once they returned home Rogue went to look for Gambit who was sitting in grass out in front of the house in the pouring rain. She placed her hand on hisshoulder. He didn't even move. She sat beside him and didn't say anything. "She came out here everytime she got scared ro t'ings got to bad for her. She came here. Dis was her place." he said Rogue still didn't say anything she just listened to him as he talked about Jessica. She had gotten use to the fact that he had started to fall in love with Jessica. She was good for him and now she was gone he'd have to get use to that. "I failed her Rogue. I knew she didn't have any powers and left her to save you." he said "Remy that's not your fault. You thoguth she was behind you. You didn't know that Sinster grabbed her." she said "How could i not know Chere. She followed after him, but knew he wouldn't listen to her. If Jessica was still alive they'd have to find her and bring her back no one was gonna be the same if they didn't.
