Chapter Six
As the days went by Jessica started to remember more things about her past. She couldn't put peices together, but she knew she ahd to go to see Sinster. It was the only the way to get her memory back. He had done something to her to make her forget and she was determind to get it back. She was walking toward the jet opening jsut as she was walking toward it she heard someone behind. She stopped and turned aorund it was Morph.
"Jess where are you going?" he asked
" I have to find Sinster and get my memory back." she said
" Then we'll go with you." he said
" No the last time you guys did i nearly killed you all. This time I'm really going by myself and if you truly care about me you'll let me go." she said
" Alright, but don't think I won't tell the others." he said
" I know you will, but hopfully they won't come until I'm better." she said as she took off in the plane.
"I highly doubt they'll wait that long." he said
She found the island where Sinster was at and landed on it. She got out of the plane and walked around the island suddenly she got attacked from behind she fought the attacker off.
" Back off you creepy thing you." she said
" Welcome back Jessica." a voice from behind her said.
" Sinster." she said
" Yes. I see you remember me anything else?" he asked
" I know enough to know that you lied to me. You used me to do your dirty work and it stops now." she said
" You're right it does stop now." he confirmed as SAbortooth came up behind her.
"If you defeat Sabortooth then I'll give you back your memory and if you don't then you die." he said
"Sinster this isn't fair." she said
"Oh of course not, but then life isn't fiar." he said as SAbortooth attacked her.
She fought him as good as she could, but it was hard she knew she wouldn't win. She still fought him until he knocked her unconcsious. While she was out she got a flash of something she couldn't put together what it meant, but she knew she was going to be okay. Her last clear thought was of Gambit then she lost touch with reality and fell into a deep sleep.
"Jessica where are you?" Morph asked softly as he paced the landing pad waiting for her to come back.
"Morph where is she?" Gambit said as he ran into the landing pad and saw him there. The others weren't fare behind him.
"She's gone." he said
" Gone what do y' mean?" he said as he grabbed Morph and lifted him off the ground.
" She made me swear I wouldn't tell you guys until she came back. She went to look for Sinster." he said
"What? How could y' let her go in da condtion she be in?" he said as he put Morph back on the ground and toward another plane.
"Gambit wait we'll come with ya." Rogue said as she and the others got on the plane.
" Morph how could you not tell us that. She could be hurt right now." Scott said
"Hey don't blame him. The girl didn't want no one to know if she did then she would've told us herself." Logan said
" We'll find her. I know it." Gambit said as he flew toward the only place he could think of where she might be. His only hope was that they would get there in time to save her.
