Destiny'S Choice Part Three:Destiny Revealed
Cora had no clue where she was going only that she had to get away. She could hear someone following her and she ran faster. She couldn't stop. She didn't want to face the fact that Zhane had moved on and with Astronema now. Of all people! The woman who tried to kill her now held the heart of the man she so desparatly loved. Or did she? She wonder and stopped running. She still there still in her tracks. Did she love Zhane or was she just upset that he was with Astronema?
"No, that's not true I do." she whispered to herself. Or was it Leo that she loved? " No, I can't." she said
"Cora?" a voice she knew all to well said from behind her.
"Not now Leo." she said as her hand went to the pendent which she now stared at. " It can't be." she whispered as she saw it glowing in her hands.
"What is it?" he asked as he walked up to her
"I can't do this now." she said as she ran from him. No not him just her feelings.
"Cora wait!" Leo said goping after her.
By the time they stopped running they were near a cliff half across terrar venture.
"Cora stop." he said as he grabbed her arm.
There is was again that warmth and the pendent glowing could he be.... no. She shook her head trying to clear her thoughts then with a soft cry she put her head on Leo's shoulder."Oh Leo I'm so sorry." she whispered
"It's okay you have nothing to be sorry for." he said as he gently ran his fingers through her hair
It was at that exact moment that she finally accepted that Leo was her destiny. He was the one she was meant to be with. Zhane and her could be friends, but she would never accept Atronema. She couldn't. The woman had tried to kill her. If it hadn't been for Alpha knowing that girl Kayla in the future then she would be dead right now. She leaned on Leo as he held her in his arms. She was safe for now and she smiled.
"Are you okay now?" Leo asked still holding her.
"Yeah." she said as she pulled back from him." Let's go find the others." she said
"Wait Cora theres something you should know about Astronema." Leo said
"Leo, the last thing I want to talk about is Astronema. She tried to kill me and I will never foret that. I can't. She nearly took my life away and now she's taken Zhane's heart from me. I should be upset and crying over that, but instead I'm angry. Not because he's found someone else. but because it's her." she said
"She's changed." he said softly
Cora just stared at him waiting for more.
"She was brain washed into thinking she was Atronema. Her name is Karone and she's Andros's.." she softly interrupted Leo.
"Sister. I've heard about her from Andros. I only knew them for a short amount of time, but Andros and I seem to connect. Not on a romantic level, but on a friendship level. I really thought me and Zhane connected on a romantic level, but I guess it was just a friendship level. Maybe my feelings of lonlyness made be think they were more." she said as they began to walk back.
"I've missed you Cora." Leo said
"Then why did you leave me behind." she asked
"I wanted to see the world." he said
"If you had asked me I would've went with you." she said as the turned a conor and walked down the hall going to his room.
"And that wouldn't have been fair."he said
"If I had gone with you then I would've never had to go to the future. So I guess in a way I should thank you. I'm a power ranger now." she said beaming.
"Really? Which one?" he asked
"The pearl Ranger. My power comes from this." she said holding up the pendent on her necklace.
"Wow. So the rangers are jems instead of like ours?" he asked as the walked into the room
"Yeah. It's so diferent from here. I mean everything is runned by computers. All you have to do when you walk into a room is say" Computer I'm hungery." and you get a list of what you have to eat and drink." she said
"Wow, it sounds amazing." he said
"Yeah it is. Kayla is a great person she taught me all i know about being a ranger except for the hand to hand thing. See in their time we don't fight monster hand to hand. We fight them with robtics." she said
"So you don't kow how to fight?" he asked with a smile
"Well, no." she said softly as Leo let out a small laugh
"I'll teach you." he said
"Yeah and laugh at me while you're doing it huh?" she sai teasingly as the opened and the others came alonge with Karone
"Cora!"" Cassie ,T.J and Carlos said as they rushed over to her and hugged her.
"I'm so glad you're okay." Cassie said
"Well, I was until I was sudenly attacked by you three." she teased as she returned each of thier hugs.
"Hey we missed you." Carlos said
"Yeah. We never heard anything from you. Why?" T.J asked
"Well we lost comunacations and I couldn't reach you at all.I tried repeatedly, but couldn't. Besides I never heard anything from you guys so I thought you guys forgot about me." she said as they sat around her
"No, we didn't." Carlos said
"We couldn't"Cassie said
"You're to cute to forget" T.J said
"Ha!" Cora said as she laughed.
"Hey watch it I'm trying to win her heart here." Leo said with a grin
"I'm just glad my best friend's back." Ashley said as she hugged her.
"Yeah I'm glad you're back to." Andros said
"You know you told me you'd tell me all about the future so lets hear it." Zhane said softly
"Oh it's beautiful." she said as she describe all there was to discribe about the future. She even told them about the rangers being Jems and all. She told them about her powers as well.
"So you're a power ranger now... that's so cool." Ashley said
"I'm glad you're alright." Karon said
Cora looked at her and her smile faded. Suddenly everyone got quite. Everyone just stared at the two women wondering what was going to happen next.
