Destiny's Choice Part Two: The Return

*2025*
Cora had been in the future for a few weeks and the cure that Kayla had given her worked. The only problem was that Kayla couldn't bring her back to her time. Cora kept busy with training as a ranger to keep her mind off of Zhane and Ashley. She was the Pearl Ranger, Kayla was the Pink Ice ranger, a man named Jay was the Saphhire ranger, a man named Ron was the emerald ranger, and young woman name Kiara was the peroid ranger, and then there was a man named Eric who was the Ruby ranger. They were all nice, but Cora missed home so bad it hurt. Then Kayla came to her with news she could bring her back, but it wouldn't be her time it would the year 2001. Cora wondered if Zhane would still be waiting for her? The only thoughts she had to get her through was him. She had agreed with Kayla to go back to the year 2001. She took a deep breath as she walked in the office.
"Cora are you ready?" Kayla asked
"I've been ready since I got here. Thanks for saving my life, but I have to get back to Zhane." she said
"You love this Zhane?" she asked
"I like him a lot.Why do you ask?" she said
"Because he's not who you called for just before you went unconscious. You called for a Leo." she said
"I did?" she questioned surprised
"Yes you did. I asked you who was when you were semiconscious and you said the love of your life." she said
"I must've confused him with Zhane." she said as she stared out of the window into space. Leo had been the one she asked for not Zhane. Was it true? Did she still love Leo? she wondered to herself.
"Cora you will be able to use your powers in the year 2001, but they won't be strong until you join life forces with the one you're destined to be with through this life time and the next." she said
"Join Life forces?" she questioned
"Yes. When you find your solemate the two of you must become as one." she said." Don't worry you'll know it when you've found your sole mate. Your pendent will begin to glow and you'll feel a heated warmth go through you." she said
"I see and if I don't find my sole mate?" she asked
"Then you won't feel it. You'll be able to stay in that time regaurdless unless you get ill again." she said
"I hope Atronema is alive because I"m going to make her pay for what she did to me." she said viciously.
"Cora relaxe or else you'll fall into the time brake and never come back then how will you get your revenge.?" Kayla said
"You're right." she said as she calmed herself down." Let's go." she concluded as Kayla gave her the transporter.
"Good luck and good bye my friend I shall never forget you." Kayla said as Cora disappeared
*2001*
" Hey Andros I'm glad you guy are staying for a while." the young man said as they walked down a hall
"Yeah me too Leo. Ashley's been a little upset lately since her best firend had to leave and we don't know if she's alive or dead. So this is good for her." he said
"What happened to her if you don't mind me asking." Leo asked
"Well, way back when Karone was Astronema she forced some posion into Ashely's best friend's mouth. Cora passed out and later she had to make the painful choice of going into the future where her only cure was or dying slowly and painfully." Andros said
"Cora?" Leo whispered." You haven't heard anything from her since?" he questioend
"No. Alpha lost the connection and couldn't get it back." he said as they walked into the room
Suddenly someone fell onto the floor before them.
"Umph." Cora said as she landed on the ground with a thud." I've really gotta learn how to land on my feet." she said as she pulled herself into a sitting position.
"Cora??" both Leo and Andros said then looked at each other.
Cora turned to see both guys and smiled."honey,I'm home well a year later, but I'm home." she said as she hugged Andros and then Leo. Suddenly she felt a warmth go through her. She pushed it aside. As she looked at Leo. He had hurt her so many years ago she couldn't let him in again.
"Just one question how did you get back?" Andros asked as he held her in his arms
"Kayla saw my growing need to return home and so she told me that she could send me back, but it was the year 2001 instead of my regular time. How did you get here? Is Zhane here too?" she asked softly
"Yeah he is. We were helping the Galaxy rangers defeat the Pyscho Rangers. Cora there's something you should know aboud Karone I mean Astronema..." Andros said
"Where is Astronema these days did you guys destory her? I hope not because then that would take away my chance at getting revenge for what she did to me." she said
"Cora we didn't defeat her." he said then thinking he should change the subject he did"You two know each other?" Andros asked indicating her and Leo
"Yeah we do." Leo said
"Did." Cora corrected." Where's Ashley and Zhane?" she asked.
"Right here." Ashley said as she sprinted over to Cora.
"Oh Ash it's so good to be back again."Cora said hugging her tightly "Oh it's so good to have my friend back again. Oh there is so much to tell you."Ashley said softly
They hugged tightly as Zhane came in.
"Cora? You're alive?" he said
"Yes Zhane I'm a live." she said as he hugged her.
"Oh this is a pleasent no more than pleasent surprise. I"m so happy to see you." he said
"So am I. The only thing that got me through was thougths of you." she said and thoughts of Leo. she thought to herself
"There's something I've got to tell you." he said pulling back from her.
"Okay."she said as she stared in to his eyes.
"I've met someone else."he said softly
"Oh." she said a little disappointed, but not hurt. She wondered why she didn't feel hurt.
"There's more." he said" It's Karone. A.KA Astronema." he said softly
"What?" she said as she pulled away from him.
"Cora she's changed." Ashley started
"It doesn't matter. How could you? She tried to kill me. And now your cozing up to her. How could you Zhane? I thought you were someone I could trust, but I guess I was wrong and Ashley you're my best friend. I can't even stay here anymore I've gotta go." she said as fled the room.
"Cora wait!" Zhane said, but Leo stopped him.
"The last person she wants to see is you right now." he said" I'll go after her." he left and follwed her
"Andros tell me I did the right thing." he said
"You did the right thing." he said
"She needed to know." Ashley said
"WE'll tell her everything when she calms down." Andros said
"I hoep so." Zhane said
