Chapter Four: The Mistake
"Jake!" Christina said as she stepped back from Lance
"What do you think you're doing? " he asked as he walked toward them.
"Hugging. He's like a good friend of mine." she said
"Look Jacob nothing was going on or anything if that's what you're thinking." Lance said
"Lance I can handel this just give us sometime." she said
"Alright I'll see you later." he said as he walked away.
"Don't Christina. Gina explained everything and so did Phil. You've been cheating on me the whole time and you lied about it. Gina said she told you that she was gonna tell me you pushed her face into some food and told her if she did that it was gonna be your fist next time. I have to admit i didn't want to believe her, but after this...Seeing how close you two were I think she was right." he said
"But Jacob I never said any of that. I would never cheat on you. We just got together. I've been..." he puts up his hand to silence her before she could finish.
"Did you push her face in some food and tell her next time it was going to be your fist?" he asked
"Yeah, but..." he didn't let her finish.
"Then we have nothing more to talk about. It's over." he said as he walked off.
"Jaocb" she called to him, but he was far gone. She sat down in the swing and cried. How could this have happened. Just when they finally found each other. Just when she was gonna say she loved him. Now it was over because he believed a lie over her.
Later that day she went to Gestina's house and told her everything that had happened. Gestina called Heather and the three of them talked and planned on what to do next.
"I say we must keep gina away from him." Heather said
"Yeah you know she's probably comforting him right now." Gestina said
"Yeah, but you know something she better enjoy it while she can, because next time i see her I'll give her something to go complain to Jacob about. You if he's gonna belive her over me then we really didn't have a relationship to beging. Trust is the foundaion of a realtionship. He obviously didn't trust me so it's good that we broke up." she said tearfully.
Gestina and Heather both hugged her tightly.
Afterward Christina and Heather went to their homes. Ashley came over to talk to Gestina.
" Hey babe what's up?" she asked
"What's this?" he asked holding up a piece of papre as he walked in her house.
"It's a peice of paper." she said confused.
"Yeah i know that, but why is it in your locker?" he asked
"Ummm because i was writing on it why?" she asked more confused then ever.
"It's a love letter." he said
"Then it must be one that you wrote to me or that i worte to you." she said
"No it's not. It's to Erik." he said
"What?" she said surprised.
"You really didn't write this did you?" he asked now looking into her eyes.
"No. Although I must say that the jealous side of you is quite attractive." she said with a small laugh.
"If you didn't write it then why is it in your locker?" he asked
"I don't know. Maybe Kayla put it in there when she used my locker earlier." she said
"Yeah she does have a thing for him. I'm sorry baby." he said as he kissed her nose.
" It's alright. I forgive you. You heard about Jacob and Christina right?" she asked softly
"No what?" he said
"They broke up." she said
"Why?" he asked
"Jacob believe Gina over her and thought that Christina was cheating on him with Lance." she said
"Lance? Lance Bass?" he said as he let out a laugh.
"Yes him. Christina thinks that it's better because if he believed Gina over her then it wasn't meant to be. She says it's all because of lack of trust." she said
"Yeah, but you know those two will be back together in no time." he said
"Yeah i know." she said
"They are like the schools most popular couple besides us, Heather and Justin. The six of us are like the six muskuteers." he said as the both started to laugh.
