Chapter Three

" Remy!" she yelled as she went to his side." Oh my gosh please don't be dead." she said as she put her head on his chest listening for his heart beat. "How is he?" the man who had helpedher fight Sabortooth asked. "I don't know. His heart is barly beating. I think he's going into shock." she said" We have to get him to safer place. Will you help me take him back to his place?" she said "Sure thing." he said as he helped him into her car. "Please don't die on me Remy." she whispered as she drove down the street. "That cajun isn't going to die he's to stubborn." the man said "You know him?" she asked " Yes he's my team mate. How do you know Sabortooth?" he asked " He's a teammate of my father." she said bitterly. "So you work with him?" he asked " No to be honest I can't stand him." she replied. "Then why not leave?" he asked " Because the man i have called father since i was a little girl is the only family I have ever known." she said "Do you have any powers?" he asked "What's with all the question?" she asked as they pulled into the mansion. "Just curious of the girl that the cajun brought home." he said " Well I'd thank you to keep your questions to yourself until Remy's breathing and a live." she said as he helped her bring Remy inside. They laid him down on the couch where she knelt over him and began to use her powers to heal him. His body began to glow. Suddenly she jolted out of consentration of healing when she sensed someone coming into the room. "Who's that?" she asked the man that had helped her. " That's okay it's just beast.How did you know?" he asked "There we go with the questions again. I can smell him and I don't mean that in a bad way. I can't explain it, but I can tell if someone comes up just by their smell." she said He looked at her for a long time. 'Could this be the girl I've been searching for?' he thought to himself.'Could she be my daughter?' he thougth again as she resumed her healing prosses. Once Remy was healed she back away from to give him some air. "Does he have a room that he can rest in where no one will bother him?" she asked "Chere we jus meet and y'wanna see Remy's room already?" Remy said weakly. "Well what can I say you intrigue me that much." she said as she helped him upstairs to his room. Once she laid him down in his bed she sat in a chiar beside his bed and watched as he slept. For the first time in her life she felt like she was doing good. She knew Sabortooth would go back to Magneto and tell him everything that had happened. Then it hit her Sabortooth had said that Remy was a X-Men if so then he was her enemy and so was all the people down stairs. Oh what was she going to do? She closed her eyes to rest for a moment while Remy slept. "Logan are you sure she's the girl that Sarah told you about?" Hank asked as he sat down to listen to Logan. "I don't know for sure, but she looks exactly like the girl i have a picture of and she sounds exactly like her. She works for Magneto and thinks he is her father. Also she can't stand Sabortooth so that' a familor part of me. she also has a sense of smell one of my traits." he said" She has the power of healing one of Sarah's traits." he said "Was she hurt during the fight?" he asked "No. I mean she got slung against the wall and bounced off of it with her feet. Then the second time she was slung into it she got and still fought sabortooth. She's the girl alright i know it." he said "Well lets just hope that she is as excepting of you as she is of Remy." he said "I don't like her getting close to him she didn't even know he was an X-Men." he said "My friend I'm afraid it's to late for you to assert you fatherly advice on her now she's an adult and has been for quite sometime." he said "I know it's just hard to believe that that little piece of a girl is my daughter. She looks exactly like Sarah that's the only reason I helped her out there tonight I thought she was SArah until I got closer to her and she ran to GAmbit instead of me." he said "Don't worry Wolverine she's safe for now, but you know she'll go back to Magneto as soon as she feels that Gambit's going to be okay." he said "Not if I can stop her." he said As he walked off and went upstairs where he saw Catrina sitting beside Gambit's bed. He sighed deeply and went to his own room. She was such a smal girl and yet she was just a stronge as he was.
