A Fight For Peace Part One: The Meeting
"No you don't understand. We need this treaty of peace or we loose everything." the other man said
"But at what cost sir should we get peace? At the cost of our childern. Our family. Our friends. Our own lives." Nebula heard her father say this and brought her head up from the book she had been reading. She looked at both men and she knew that somehow you could not have peace without violence and violence without peace. It was as if they went hand in hand.
She sat there and listened to the arguements of the two men. Her father spoke of peace and none violence. The other man spoke of peace and violence. She watched them and listen carfully from that moment on. Then two more people cam into the room.
"Master Cudaous this is Ambassabors Qui-Gon-Jinn and Obi-Wan-Kenobi." a man stated from the doorway as the two men walked in.
"Master Qui-Gon and his apprentice Obi-Wan in other words." Cudaous corrected as he passed a glance at Nebula who was now looking up at the two men." You shouldn't be here. You do not belong in a Jedi meeting. Have you been paying attenion to anything we were saying?" he questioned her
" Not all of it only the part about Peace and fighting for it." she said
" Do you agree with oyu father about getting peace without fighting for it?" he questioned
"I do not know. Perhaps Peace and fighting go hand in hand. you can not have peace without fighting for it and when the fightings done you have peace." she stated as glanced at her father.
"You are very wise for a girl. If you were a guy you would be trained as a Jedi for you have Jedi traits, but alast you are just a mere female and will spend your life taking care of a famliy." he said as he turned toward the two Jedi's.
"Master Qui-Gon. Obi-Wan welcome" he started to say as Nebula interrupted him.
"And why do you think I'll spend my life raising a family?" she questioned
" Because you are a female and it's what you females do." he said
" So because I was a female I do not get the right to train as a Jedi when you yourself said that I had the traits of a Jedi." she said
" Exactly and don't let your female emiotions take control. You will stay over and be quite. Let us Jedi's handel this." he said as he turned back toward Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon
"Well, I think you're just afraid that if I was to be trained as a Jedi that I would someday prove your violence and peace thing wrong and get peace without violence." she said as she sat back down.
Obi-Wan watched the girl in pure admiration. As did Qui-Gon. He had known the girl since she was a child and yet here she stood talking to Cudasous as if he were but a mere man that was beneath her and she did it with such ease.
"Look here's the deal." he started, but was interrupted by Yoda
"Angery are you now. It clouds your judgment it does. The young femal a jedi she is to become." yoda stated as everyone including Nebula starred at him in astonishment.
"But how? no one has been training her in the jedi. she is to old now to be trained." Cudaous stated angrly.
"I have been training her since she was of age." her father stated.
"What?" both Nebula and Cudasous said together.
"I knew you would be the one to bring peace and you would do it with little violence if any. When i brought it to yoda he to saw as well as the rest of the consal." he stated.
"Why was I not told about this?" Cudasous asked
"Because it was not nasseary to tell you." Qui-Gon said
"I see. So you knew about this as well?" he said
" Yes. I helped in her trainin." he stated
"What if I choose not to be a jedi?" Nebula asked causing everyone to look at her.
