A Fight For Peace Part Three: A Loss
In the days that past Nebula had finally come to a decission about her Jedi. she went to the consual and told them.
"Sure you are of the choice you have made." Yoda said
"Yes Master Yoda. I am very sure. After thinking about it over and over I've come to this conclusion. It's the only right one for me and for my future family." she stated
"Proud your father will be. A Jedi you have always been." Yoda said
"Thank you master Yoda. I truly hope i can make him proud of me." she said
"Fear you have. Fear of disappointing your father you are. You must not be." Yoda said
"I know Master Yoda." she said
"Their mission you will go on. Carful you must be. Young you still are." Yoda said
"Thank you master Yoda." she said
"you may go. May the force be with you." The others said as she left.
She walked out of the consual office and found Obi-Wan. she was beaming when she found him her father, and Qui-Gon standing near a watering hole.
" Nebula? what happened where have you been?" Obi-Wan asked
"I went to see the consual." she stated
"The Jedi Consual?" he questioned
"No the conual for confused women." she said sarcasticly." Of course it was the Jedi Consual. I made my choice. One i know i can live with." she said
"Which is?" Obi-Wan asked
"I made my choice to be a jedi. I've been trained to be one from birth it's the only logical thing to do." she stated softly
"I'm very proud of you." Her father said as they hugged each other
"I didn;t do this for you. i did it for me." she clearly stated.
"I know." he said.
"Well, now you will see what i go through." Obi Wan said as he put his arms around her.
"I already have been through what you've been through minus the hands on approch." she said with a smile.
"I'm sure you will do fine as a Jedi. After all you were trained by me and your father." Qui-Gon stated.
"Of course. The two best Jedi's i know." she said
"So I take it you are to go with us on this mission of Peace." Her father said
"Yes, but i have my own way of getting peace if you will allow me to do it." she said as they broaded the ship.
"How by talking to them?" Obi-Wan said
"Yes. I think if we sit down and tlka to them they will see that there is no need for fighting." she said
"It won't do any good. They won't listen to you." Obi-Wan said as they both sat down
"I think they will. How would you know anyway. you've never given it a chance." she said
"Alright you two let's not argue about it now. We'll let Nebula try it her way, but if it doesn't work then we'll do our way." her father said
"I agree." Qui-Gon said
"Aren't Jedi's supose to be the gaurdens of PEACE and justic?" she questioned
"Yes we are." her father stated
"Then why fight? Why not go it the Peacful route." she questioned
"My daughter is wise beyond her years and yet she is young. We only fight when we have to. We will go the peacful way on this mission unless otherwise provocked." her father stated
"Thank you." she said as she walked out of the room.
"She doesn't have a clue as to what she's getting into does she?" Obi-Wan asked
"No she doesn't, but she wil learn." her father said
"Of course we'll be there to help her." Obi-Wan said
"Of course." Qui-Gon said as Nebula came back into the room.
"Tell me what you said about me." she said
"So you heard what we said?" Bi-Wan said
"No i just guessed, but now I know you were talking about me." she said
"We were just talking about the mission and your name came up. That's all." her father said
"Huh sure. I guess I'll find soon enough." she said as she sat down at the table and started to eat the food she brought in.
"Hey I want some of that." Obi-Wan said sitting beside her
"Alright here." she said giving him some in a bowel
"So tell me Young Obi-Wan-Kenobi why ao you look so smuge?" she questioned eyeing him
"Smuge? You think I'm looking smuge." he said
"Yes I do." she said tilting her head to the side curiously.
"Well, you think wrong. I'm hunery that's all." he said
"Sure." she said as she let it go.
They landed on the planet shortly afterwards.
"Becarful you two." Qui-Gon said as Obi-Wan and Nebula head off on their own.
"We will." they shouted.
Suddenly the two was attacked. Nebula was injuried by a blaster and fell to the ground leaving Obi-Wan to defend her. Soon her father and Qui-Gon had come to them. She sat there helpless to anything as her father was killed before her. When it was over Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon went to herside.
"Oh my god. No! Please no!" she screamed as she struggled to get to her feet.
"You msuten move you'll hurt yourself even more." Obi-Wan said as he held her still
"My father. " she said as she tried to hold back the tears.
"I'm sorry. There was nothing we could do." Qui-Gon said.
"It was his destiny." she said tearfully
Obi-Wan picked her up in his arms and carried her back to the ship. "Master how are we going to get peace here when we can't even get near anyone?" he questioned
"We will." he said
They doctored up Nebula and let her sleep while they planned a way to get to the king.
