A Fight For Peace Part Two: The Choice
Everyone looked at her in shock. It was so quite you could hear a pin drop. She took a deep breath and held it as she waited for them to speak. She starred for a long time at the jedi's before her. Master Yoda was the one to brake the silence.
"Fear you have. Good it is not." he said
"I know it's not good to have fear, but you must understand a human I am. Invensible I am not." she said mocking Yoda.
"Mock me you do. I sense your father's defience in you. As well as Qui-Gon's. Need that you do not." he stated annoyed
"I'll take that as a compliment, but in all seriousness. i owe it to my future family to think this thing through before I make any choices. The choices I make today I'll have to live with tomorrow as well as my future. Everything depends on this choice. It's one that I will not take lightly." she stated
" Time you need. Time you will have. Be here we will." he said
" Thank you." she said as she turned to walk out.
Once she was out of the room Cudaous turned toward the rest of the jedi.
"I was harsh before, but I now see I was wrong. She will be a jedi and she will be the one to bring us peace." he stated as he left the room.
"Wise your daughter is." yoda said to nebula's father.
" She gets it from her mother." he said
"Yes like her mother she is. A jedi she will be. Train her you will." he said as they all left the room.
"Nebula's smart and she is thinking of her future as well as this chance she has. It something she knows want be easy, but she also knows it's something you want her to do." Qui-Gon said to Nebula's father as they walked down the hall.
"I will be proud of my daughter no matter what she chooses." he stated " Where is Obi-Wan?" he asked as he noticed the young man was not with them.
" My guess is he's gone to talk to your daughter." Qui-Gon said
" She always did talk to him more than us." he said
" Yes she did. she trustes him more than anyone." he said
" Yes she does. He's her life line to clear thinking." he said
Obi-Wan found Nebula near a water hole. She was watching the sun set.
" I can not be a jedi if I can not understand what it is I am to do or be." she stated softly
" You could be the one to bring us peace." he said
"How can I do that when I do not even know who I am." she said
" Look within yourself you'll find all your answers there." he said
" Obi Wan I know nothing of myself except being a jedi is what I was trained to be since I was a child. I didn't have a normal child hood. I can not do that to my future childern. I want their lives to be different. i want them to have peace besides consant fighting." she stated
"I wish i could make the choice for you, but I can not." he said
" I know. You just listening to me is good enough." she said as he held her close to him.
" A friend to you I will always be." he said
"Now you're starting to sound like Yoda." she said as they both laugh.
