A Reporter's Choice
Kayla and Peter had been dating for quite sometime and she still didn't know that he was Spiderman. He thougth about telling her, but never found "THE RIGHT MOMENT" he was going to her house tonight and then he would tell her the truth about everything. As he got to her house he realised something wasn't right his danger senses were going crazy. He knew she was in trouble he climp in through her window and sure enough she was. She was on the ground covered in blood as he walked up to her she reach out to him.
"I knew who you were from the start. I tried to keep it a secert, but i couldn't they're coming for you Peter.please becarful and remember I'll always love you." she said as she closed her eyes and died.
Peter was in shock for a long time and didn't even regester anything she had said expect for she loved him. After the medics took her away he went back to his house and it was then that he realised she said someone was coming for him. 'Who was it? and why?' he thought to himself as he fell asleep.
A man walked into a building that was dark a damp. He looked as if he was lookin or waiting for someone. He walked around a little more until suddenly someone came out of the shadows.
"Well?" the shadow person asked.
"I've got the informantion you wanted Dr Octopus." the man said
"And the girl?" he asked
"She's gone. Spidey will get a really big surprise when he finds her." the man said
"YOU FOOL! You were not to harm the girl!" he said angerly as he picke him off the ground
"She wouldn't give him without a fight and she put up a good one to." he said as Dr Octopus put him back down on the ground.
"Next time I tell you to do something you do it and if I say don't hurt anyone i mean it. That girl could've been of valuble use to us.Now she's not." he said as he left.
In the months that followed Peter knew he had no other choice, but to hunt out the X-Men to help him. He went to the mansion and found Xaiver. He explained to him what had happened with Kayla.
"I know of Kayla she has been here many times. She told me of a vison she once had aobut you." he said
"What vison?" he asked
"The one where you get hurt because of her. She knew she going to have to sacorfice herself to save you. With her gone you are now more able to focus on what you od best." he said
"How can you say that? She was my life and now she's gone because of someone out to get me?" he said as he then turned to leave.
'But she will be back.' he said in his mind to Peter.
"What?" he asked as he stopped.
"Her blood had to be shed to save you, but now she's back. She never died only her body did." he said
"What is that supposed to mean?" heasked
"It means Peter that I'm a live and well. I'm sorry, but I couldn't tell you." she said softly.
"Kay. you're....alive." he whispered as he hugged her tightly.
"Yeah Pet I am." she said as she returned his hugged.
She explained everything to Peter and even though he didn't fully understand he let it go because he wanted to be with her the fears of the past they would deal with some other time right now they ahd each other.
