Brooke´s office.
Brooke was lying unconsciuos on the floor surrounded by pieces of the ceiling of the floor they fell down to. Thorne was at the door trying to get it open as Macy watched Brooke. Suddenly Brooke started moving. She called out for Thorne who came to her side.
Thorne: Be still, honey. Don´t try to move. The ambulance is on it´s way.
Macy: You´ll be just fine. We´re gonna see to it.
Brooke: Macy?
Macy: Yes Brooke, it´s me.
Thorne heared sirens outside and went back to the door and finally got it open. He rushed out and a few minutes later came back with 2 peramedics. They went over to Brooke and layed her on a stretch. Then they all went out to the waiting ambulace and took off to the hospital.
The Forrester mansion
Olivia looked like she was about to collapse. Gregory took Trey from her just in case she would. A few seconds later she did collapse. Gregory quickly handed Trey over to Eric and Stephanie who had worried looks on their faces. Gregory tried to awake Olivia but with no success. Stephanie suggested they drive to the hospital themselves insted of waiting for the ambulance to come there since they probably had much to do. Gregory picked up Olivia and they walked out to the car and drove off without even noticeing that the guesthouse, where Rick lives, had halfly collapsed.
Morgan´s/Annie´s beach house
Ben and Annie/Morgan was all right, just a little shaken. They looked at each other for a while.
Ben: Hi…
Annie/Morgan: Well, this is a surprise… And what an entrance!
Ben: Yeah. Perfect timing for the quake.
Annie/Morgan: What are you doing here anyway?
Ben: I came to see you. I had a talk with Jude. Why didn´t you say anything?
Annie/Morgan: What exactly did Jude say to you?
Ben: Everything, I think… About your miscarrying my baby.
Annie/Morgan: Oh no! Ben, I´m so sorry!
Ben: Don´t be. I don´t blame this on you. I just can´t believe that you didn´t trust me enough to tell me.
Annie/Morgan: That´s not why. I didn´t want to hurt you more by telling you this. You were already in so much pain.
Ben: You really have changed, you know that?
Annie/Morgan: I take that as a compliment comming from you.
Ben: Good.
Ben looked around. The house managed the quake pretty well. Not too much damage. Annie/Morgan got up from the floor and looked at the mess. The furniture, the decorations, everything was laying in a big pile on the floor.
Annie/Morgan: Well, this is gonna take forever… Care to help?
Ben: It will be my pleasure…
Amber and C.J´s apartment.
Amber, baby Eric and C.J. were curled up under the table. They crawled out. There wasn´t so much damage, only broken things and furniture laying on the floor like someone had broken in and halfly destroyed them. Little Eric had stopped crying and was asleep in C.J´s arms. Amber straightened the sofa and they sat down. They didn´t bother the rest of the stuff just yet since there might be aftershocks.
The Forrester guesthouse (Rick´s place)
The house seemed to be OK from the yard side but it wasn´t. On the back, the roof had fallen in and the walls as well. Rick was laying on the floor. The scar on his head was deep and blood was running down. The beats from his heart started slowing down till they completely stopped…
The hospital (with Brooke, Thorne & Macy)
Macy and Thorne were sitting in the waiting area. A doctor came out from the room Brooke was in.
The Doctor: I´m Doctor McRainey, I treat Miss Logan, are you relatives or friends or…?
Thorne: She´s my wife… Thorne was stunned with his answer. Wife? How is she, doctor?
Dr. McRainey: She is doing OK. No internal bleeding, although her brain has swollowd a bit but she´ll be just fine. I just told her to rest a week or two. You can go in to her if you want.
Thorne passed the doctor and walked into the room. Brooke was sharing the room with an old lady. Brooke shined up when she saw Thorne. He sat down by her bedside and took her hand and kissed it gently.
Thorne: I don´t know what I would have done if you…
Brooke: No, don´t… I´m here and I´m all right.
Taylor and Ridge were picking up things and threw away the most. The house managed the quake but it still looked like a mess inside. The children had cried and screamed the whole time and now they were finally asleep, giving Ridge and Taylor a break.
Taylor: We should call your parents and the others, hear if they´re all right and let them know we´re OK.
Ridge: We should, but the lines are down. My cellphone isn´t working eighter.
Taylor: When you should go over there. I´ll stay with the children.
Ridge: OK… Maybe I should go by Morgan´s place too, she probably was alone.
The hospital (with Eric, Stephanie, Gregory, Olivia and
Trey)
Gregory was in Olivia´s hospitalroom. She was laying unconsciuos in a bed and Gregory was standing with the doctor beside. The doctor had examined her and had found an internal bleading in her head. They were getting her ready for sergery.
Gregory: Are you sure she´ll recover?
The Doctor: Well, I can´t be sure, but she should be fine. There might be some complications while in sergery but the chanses of that isn´t very large. My guess is that she should recover just fine.
Gregory: God, I hope so.
Gregory kissed Olivia´s cheak and walked out to the waiting area where Eric and Stephanie were sitting.
Gregory: Have you heard anything about Trey yet?
Eric: The doctor is on his way to talk to you, he didn´t tell us anything.
A doctor approached them.
The Doctor: Are you the father of a Armando Deschanel III?
Gregory: No, but I share costody of him.
The Doctor: That will do. I´m Doctor Sullivan.
The two men shook hands.
Gregory: Tell me, how is Trey?
Dr. Sullivan: He is stabile right now but he needs blood. Do you know where we can find his biological parents?
Gregory: Well, my wife is in no condition to give blood, she is headed to the sergery as we speak. The father is in Sunset Beach. I will call him here.
Dr. Sullivan: Do that, we need him to donate ASAP. I´ll come back soon.
Gregory quickly took out his cellphone but the line was dead. Suddenly he heard Sunset Beach being mentioned on the TV in the waiting area. Gregory looked on in horror as they showed pictures of a total destrucktion in the small town.
Reporter: …the quake had it´s epicenter in Sunset Beach… …7.8 on the Richter scale… …over 80 confimed deaths and at least 150 injured… Gregory look in shock at the TV.
Gregory: I´ll have to get down there. Caitlin… Sean… And Cole…
Eric: I´m so sorry… If you want I can come along.
Gregory: Thank you, Eric. Let´s go! No time to lose.
Stephanie: I´ll stay here and I´ll try to call if I hear anything about Olivia or Trey.
Gregory: Thank you so much.
Gregory and Eric rushed off to the car they drove to the hospital in and headed to Sunset Beach.

Back in Sunset Beach at the hospital…
Maria: Jude!
Jude: Maria! Thank God you’re OK.
Maria: Yeah, you too. (they hug) I came here to try and find out something about my family, luckfully they are all fine fine.
Jude: That’s good.
Maria: Yeah. This is the second earthquake experience I have had. I thought the first one was bad, but this… I just hope everyone’s OK. Right now, I’m really worried about Ben and Annie.
Jude: I know, the quake hit a big part of LA as well. And since Ben went there to try and find Annie…
Maria: I… I just have to know! I have to know if they’re OK.
Jude: I do too. Annie and I may not be a couple any more, but I will always love and care for her. So there’s really onlt one way to find out if they’re OK.
Maria: By going to LA.
At the hospital in L.A., sisters Macy and Kimberly were
hugging.
Kimberly: I’m so glad you and Thorne are OK.
Macy: Sweetie, I know you’re worried that you haven’t heard anything about Rick, but please know that I’m here for you. And I’m sure that Rick is just fine. He’s probably as concerned and scared for you. It probably won’t be long until he walks through that hospital door right into your arms.
Kimberly: I hope so… What about you? Why aren’t you in Thorne’s arms?
Macy: He’s with Brooke right now.
Kimberly: Brooke!?
Macy: Yes. Oh Kimberly, you should have seen him with her. He really loves her. I have finally realized that they belong together. We never should have gotten married.
Kimberly: So that’s it? You’re just giving up?
Macy: There’s no reason not to. Right now all I can do is pray that Brooke will be fine. For her AND Thorne.
In Brooke’s hospital room Thorne was sitting by her bedside, holding her hand in his, waiting for the doctor to give them some news.
Thorne: We’ve been through so much, honey. Most of it has been bad. But somehow I just know that we will be lucky enough to experience some good things as well. We’ll be married as soon as possible and maybe... have kids.
Expecting her to just wake up and say, ’YES, WE WILL!!’ he says......
Thorne: You may have heard me telling the doctors that you’re my wife. And that’s because I think of you that way… So, maybe we should just not get married since I already think of us as married…
She didn’t respond… but somehow Thorne felt she was trying to.
C.J. and Amber´s place.
C.j. and Amber is sitting with the baby on the sofa. They have just finnished cleaning up the mess after the earthquake.
Amber: We should try to call your family again.
C.J: I tried a few minutes ago but the lines are still down. Maybe we should go over to Spectra.
Amber: Yes, we should. But first I just want to give you an answer to the question you asked me before the quake. And my answer is yes.
C.J: So you agree that we should rename Eric?
Amber: Yes. It´s not right for him and it just remind me of every lie I told and... well you know.
C.J: So what do you think we should name him?
Amber: Good question! I want a name with a nice meaning. Maybe something that reminds of Becky. But what?
C.J: We should give this some time, to come up with a good name. Lets get over to Spectra now.
They took the baby and headed over to Spectra.
In Sunset Beach.
Eric & Gregory have just arrived. Some police officers tried to stop them but after quickly explaining their situation they let them through. Eric & Gregory were horrified to see the small town. It was totally destroyed. Almost every house was destroyed or had collapsed. It was very dark since all the lights were out. People on the streets were in chock or in panic. Eric & Gregory managed to get to the Richards mansion. Only Rose the housekeeper was there. She had her husband and baby with her. They seemed to be all right. Gregory took her to the side and asked were everyone was explaining that it was an emergancy. Rose said that Sean, Caitlin & Cole went to the deep and that she hadn´t heard from them. Eric asked if they were gonna be O.K and then the two men left for the deep. When they finally got there, they saw what they feared. Gregory looked in chock at the collapsed building. But as always he kept calm. He talked himself into that they were all O.K. That they hadn´t been there or at least gotten out in time. He looked around and saw a police man. He ran over to him. The policeman couldn´t tell him much, only that he knew that Sean had just left. Gregory took a guess and he and Eric headed back to the Richards house. And there they found Sean. He was sitting on the floor, hysterical in tears. Gregory went over to him and for the first time in years he got down on the floor next to his son and gave him a comforting hug.
Sean: Dad! I´m so glad to see you. Emily and Caitlin...
Gregory: What son? Sean broke down once again.
Sean: They´re gone...
Gregory looked chocked.
Gregory: Gone? Caitlin? NO!
Sean: Dad, I´m sorry.
Gregory: Don´t tell me she was inside the deep when it...
Sean: She was. As Emily and Cole and everybody else.
Gregory & Sean shared another hug. They were both crying. Eric stood in the background. He had tears in his eyes. He had known Caitlin since she was a little girl.
Sean: Mom? Where is mom? And Trey?
Gregory: Olivia is in sergery now, in L.A. She is gonna be O.K.
Gregory didn´t tell Sean that his mother might not be O.K. He didn´t want to worry him anymore. He had enough with pain already.
Gregory: But Trey... He needs blood from one of his parents. And none of them is able to give him that. Damn it!
Gregory lost his temper like he use to in crises. Not being capable of showing feelings.
Sean: I want to go to them.
Gregory: I want that too, but how do we do with Trey? He needs blood and that now!
Sean: Are you sure that he just can have it from his parents?
Gregory: Well, no. But I´m pretty sure that was what the doctor meant.
Sean: Well, maybe I can give. He is my half brother.
Gregory: It´s worth a try. Lets go.
The three men left Sunset Beach and drove back to L.A.
In an airport in Kansas
Sheila and Mike were on their way to L.A. but the flight was delayed. The earthquake was the reason.
Sheila: Damn! Well, this isn´t over. I will get to L.A. Stephanie is gonna pay. I promise that. She is getting a few days more in freedom. But soon she will be wishing she never heard the name Sheila Carter. No, she is gonna wish that she never was born...
In Morgan/Annies beach house with her and Ben.
Annie/Morgan and Ben was sitting on the sofa talking. They had discussed about what happened with the baby and why she couldn´t tell him about it. Ben had told her that he wouldn´t had taken it in a bad way if she told him she was pregnant with his baby.
Annie/Morgan: So how do you feel about this now?
Ben: Well, I feel sad that the baby didn´t make it. But I´m glad you told me now. If you don´t mind me asking... Why did you come to L.A. using a fake name? By the way, what should I call you? Annie or Morgan?
Annie: It´s Annie. Morgan kind of brings me bad memories now. Ironic! Before you got here it was the other way around. I don´t know what Maria told you but my reason for coming here was to make things right with my former boyfriend Ridge but I ended up screwing things up like I always do. Don´t ask! I was hired by Forrester creations so I decided to stay here. And the name... Well it´s a long story but to make it short, when I graduated school I went as you might recall away from Sunset Beach for a couple of years. You never knew what I was doing, did you?
Ben: Well, not much. Only that you modeled a while as you told us when you got back.
Annie: Yes I did. But I used another name as a model - Morgan DeWitt. I don´t know why I did. Maybe to have some privacy if I got recognized. And I was. I became successful. And that´s when I met Ridge. I modeled for Forrester and I got pregnant with his child. I had an abortion and I left him and L.A. without a word. A while later I came back to Sunset Beach. And you know the rest.
Ben: That´s about what Maria said. But she also mentioned that you didn´t have the abortion on your free will. She said that Ridges mother forced you and forced you to leave town.
Annie: Yes. Well, that was at least what I believed. But I´m not so sure about that now.
Ben: What do you mean?
Annie: She tried to convince me to do it. But she never really forced me into it. If I really wanted the baby and knew I could take care of it then no one could force me into anything. You know that. And besides, what kind of a mother would I have been?
Ben: You weren´t mature enough to be a mother then. You weren´t ready. But seeing you now makes me believe that you have matured lately. Since you found out you were pregnant perhaps.
Annie: I feel more mature now. And I think you´re right. Maybe the abortion was for the best. Ever since I got pregnant again all the old feelings has just been coming back to me. You can´t believe what I did to Ridge recently. Well maybe you can since you´ve known me so long.
Ben: Nothing surprises me what you do. And I mean that in a good way.
Annie: Thank you. Annie/Morgan smiled for the first time in a long time and told Ben how she tricked Ridge into sleeping with her to get pregnant again. And why she did it. To make up for the loss of her child with Ben.
Ben: Annie, I´m so sorry for everything you´ve gone through. I feel so guilty.
Annie: No don´t. You didn´t know.
Ben: Does Ridge know about any of this?
Annie: Ridge know that Annie is my real name but he still call me Morgan. The way he learned to know me. His family doesn´t know as far as I know. I told Ridge about the baby I aborted and why I left him. But he doesn´t know the real reason why I wanted another baby with him. He thinks it´s because of the first baby and not our baby.
There was a knock on the door and Annie went and open it - to Ridge.
